Over the next few days, Anna silently waited for James arrival.  During that time, Sarah had been happily catching up with  Christopher, both of them happily chatting away with each other.

The queen would keep Anna company throughout the day, making sure she was okay and not lonely. She didn't know how much work James had left, but she was hoping he would finish soon.

"Anna, are you alright?" Gabriela sat down on the armchair in front of her.

"I'm fine..."Anna replied, not wanting to worry Gabriela so much.

"Say, you're his mother....How much longer do you think he's gonna take?" The young woman inquired.

"Well, it depends on what it is he is working on." She replied softly.

"Oh...of course it does." Anna looked away.

"But, like I said before, I know he will be here soon. He would hate to leave you waiting for too long." The queen reminded Anna.

"I know..." Anna looked out the window.

After many hours of hoping James would arrive, it came time for the Gingerbread House contest. Diane and Anna's dad, Ed, were a team, and Sarah and Christopher invited the queen to join them.

That left one person alone. Anna. She stepped away from the competition, knowing she would lose without James. Heck, she could barely keep the walls up, and that's after James tried teaching her some techniques he used.

Anna always did this competition with James, not because she wanted to win, but because she enjoyed doing it with him. Everyone knew that, so no one asked questions, but they all still felt a little saddened that Anna didn't at least try to join them.

Anna stayed in the kitchen, drinking a mug of Hot Cocoa by herself. Sarah and Gabriela would come in to check on her every once in a while, but Anna felt alone.

Anna decided to take the time and put it to good use though. After she finished her Hot Cocoa, she went into the dining room, where all the gift bags, colored and uncolored tissue paper, and wrapping paper were.

She had bought all of her Christmas presents, but she didn't have time to wrap them before she had to leave for Kentsbury. Anna grabbed a few of the presents from her pile and looked them all over.

Three could be wrapped, and two could be in bags. She started with the bags, scavenging through all of them to find the perfect ones for her gifts.

After she found them, she placed them inside their respective bags and covered the present in colored tissue paper. She set those aside and started wrapping the other 3 gifts. She wrote her name on the tags and put the first batch of her presents under the tree.

She continued with this cycle for a while, picking up a few gifts, looking through the bags and wrapping paper, and wrapping or bagging them up. By the end of it, only 2 presents were left. James presents.

She purposely left them for last, not wanting to be reminded even more that he wasn't here. His first gift was a watch, the base black and the accents gold. His second gift, was a small heart shaped picture frame, with a picture of him and Anna already inside it.

She carefully wrapped the watch, not wanting anything to happen to it. She then moved to the picture, grabbing a small bag and placing it inside. She covered it, and then placed the last two presents under the tree, finishing her gift wrapping spree.

Anna looked over all the gifts, knowing each and every single one was picked carefully and with love. She knew they would love their gifts, they always did.

Anna walked away from the tree, leaving the gifts alone.

"Dad! I'm calling it a night!" Anna called out to her dad.

"Okay! Sweet Dreams!" He replied back.

Anna rolled her eyes jokingly, and went up the stairs into her room, shutting off the lights and closing the door, falling asleep almost instantly.

A/N: Hiiiii! Okay, I don't know if I want to go into what James is doing. And no, it's not because I'm lazy. It's because I don't genuinely know what he's doing. Like, what do royals do?! And how am I supposed to know? If anyone has a single idea, PLEASE TELL ME- I COULD REALLY USE IT- Anyways, as always, I hope you're having a good day/night!
