The vacation was a much-needed escape from everything—the pressures of school, the heavy memories, and the tension of the past few months.

Namjoon had organized everything meticulously, ensuring that this trip would be a genuine break for all of us.

We traveled to a secluded villa nestled in the mountains, surrounded by stunning views and the peaceful quiet of nature.

From the moment we arrived, everyone seemed to unwind, their tough facades fading away to reveal laughter and lightheartedness. Jin took over the kitchen, eager to treat us to dishes he'd been wanting to try, while Taehyung kept the energy high, challenging us to swim races in the pool or late-night card games where Jungkook somehow ended up losing each round.

There was an ease in our interactions, and for the first time, I felt part of something stable—something I could trust.

Namjoon noticed my moments of silence, especially when I'd slip into my own thoughts.

One evening, he joined me by the fire pit under a sky filled with stars. "How are you holding up?" he asked, his tone gentle. He always seemed to know when I needed to talk but never pushed.

I sighed, gathering my thoughts. "I feel... lighter, I think. Like I can finally breathe," I admitted. "Being here, with all of you, it's making me realize how different things can be."

Namjoon's face softened with a small smile. "Family isn't always about where you come from—it's about where you choose to be and who you let in. And, Yoongi, you're already one of us."

His words hit me deeply, settling a warmth in my chest that I hadn't felt in years. "Thank you, Namjoon... for everything."

The rest of the vacation passed in a happy blur, filled with laughter and bonding. By the time we returned home, it felt as if I'd left a piece of my past behind in those mountains, returning with a newfound acceptance. I was a Kim now, and they were my family.

Back at school, life resumed its regular rhythm, though the upcoming exams had everyone a little on edge. The pressure weighed on Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook, and seeing their stressed faces, I felt a natural urge to help.

I started guiding them through the tougher subjects, explaining math problems, breaking down essay questions, and helping them stay focused. Taehyung, who usually struggled to sit still, surprised me with his determination, while Jungkook's competitive streak pushed him to try and get ahead. Jimin, as always, listened intently, absorbing every tip.

One late evening, after an intense study session, Jungkook stretched and yawned, leaning back in his chair. "Yooni, you're so good at explaining things. Ever thought about becoming a teacher?"

I blinked, taken aback. "A teacher?" I repeated, laughing. "It never really crossed my mind."

Jungkook shrugged with a grin. "You'd be great at it. I mean, look at us! You made algebra make sense—if that's not talent, I don't know what is."

The others laughed, and Jin nodded in agreement. "He's right, Yoongi. You have a natural knack for it."

Their words filled me with warmth, and for the first time, I considered teaching seriously. I hadn't thought of it as a possibility, but seeing their trust and the difference I'd made for them made the idea feel... right.

As exam season progressed, the trio's confidence grew, and our free time was spent unwinding after each test with dinners and movie nights. The support and small gestures from my new family kept me grounded, and I found myself smiling more, laughing without holding back. I was a long way from the person who'd first met the Kims, and I felt a sense of belonging that I'd never known.

When exam results were finally posted, the joy on their faces was priceless. Seeing Taehyung's wide grin, Jimin's look of relief, and Jungkook's victorious fist pump made every study session worth it. I felt an overwhelming pride for each of them, along with a growing sense of purpose.

Maybe Jungkook was right. Teaching might just be my path.

After everything, I'd finally found my place—with the Kims, and perhaps, in helping others find theirs.
