chapter 6: Grateful

Author's POV

Aakriti & Sirat was in their room getting ready & Aakriti say to Sirat " maybe I shouldn't come, I don't feel right about this." 

Sirat asked her "why??"

" There's no one that I know apart from you, I'll be really awkward to be between your classmate & all" Aakriti answered. 

" Hey!! don't you feel that way, I'll be there with you all the time & I really think you should come. What're you gonna do staying here. You should enjoy your life Aakriti." 

"Okay I'll come." Aakriti said

then they got ready and went for party. 

Aakriti's Look

At party

Aakriti & Sirat entered the club. Everyone was partying, dancing & having fun. Aakriti was a bit nervous cause this is something new for her, she hasn't been to an club or parties like this before. She was raised in very simple & disciplined household. 

Yuhaan came to them & they wished him " Happy birthday" & then they talked for some mins. then someone called Yuhaan and he went there. Then Sirat took Aakriti towards the sitting area, when Aakriti saw Sid & Nishat sitting there, Aakriti's heart skipped a beat, Sid was looking handsome. Aakriti's cheek got all red just looking at him. 

She couldn't stop herself but observe him. He was looking like some Greek god!! 

Sid's Look 

Sid noticed her & looked up. Aakriti was looking so simply beautiful & cute that, for Sid all those glamorous girls with ton's of makeup was nothing Infront of her. 

Aakriti & Sirat sat on the couch next to Sid's. Sirat & Nishant were talking about stuff & Aakriti & Sid were just sitting silently. 

After some time Yuhaan came to them & insisted them to join him on dance floor. they all denied but Yuhaan requested them so much so Sirat & Nishant went with him but Aakriti & Sid didn't go.

Then Sid went to get some drink for him, While he was gone... Aakriti was looking into her phone & suddenly one guy came & sat next to her. He was drunk & looking at her in inappropriate way. She somehow calmed herself down & tried to avoid him. But he again tried to talk to her & put his hand on her shoulder, she pushed him but he again came so strongly on her....

Aakriti got so terrified & left the club but that guy also tried to follow her. he the grabbed aakriti's hand, she tried to free herself but couldn't. 

Sid saw that His heart raised with anger, He went straight to guy & stopped him.  

" get out of the way Sid" He remembered him he was his old high school classmate "Manik". 

" Stay away from her" Sid said

" What's the matter with you, it's none of your business." He said and tried to get pass Sid but punched him in the face. 

"stay fucking away from her, I won't be repeating this again & get the hell out of here." Sid yelled

There was a lot anger in Sid's eyes he don't know why but it made him so angry seeing Aakriti suffer. he tried to look for her but she was nowhere to be seen. then he went out to see her, he got tensed cause he couldn't find her & it Started raining heavily. he then spotted her on the roadside. he then got umbrella from his car and went to her.

Aakriti POV 

This is so horrible, I feel so scared.... I ran out of the club & I don't know what I was doing but I just went straight where the road led me. It started raining, I sat down & let it all out. this was so much for me to take. 

My tears were not stopping, I had never experienced such incident before in my life. I was crying my heart out. 

then suddenly felt that rain has stopped... I looked up & Siddharth holding umbrella over me. My teary eyes me his... I saw concern in his eyes... 

he then said, " it's okay, you're safe now."
