In Between

Triplets?

(In the fanfic the Sturniolo Triplets are the same age as Sam and Colby and Dani so they are also 21.)

Dani was at the café sitting on the small stage as Marjorie was beginning to open. She was setting up her guitar, Marjorie greeted some costumers as they came in, Dani hadn't looked up yet. But when she did she saw 3 boys, probably around her age, someone older than them and their parents. She looked back down at her guitar though. Marjorie sat them down at a table, getting them started on drinks.

Dani stayed silent. She wanted to wait till for costumers came until she started playing. She watched as some more costumers came in. She started strumming a few keys (sorry idk how to play guitar) on her guitar. She started playing her song "I miss you, I'm sorry" she liked this song. It was about Jeremiah. Even if he was a total asshole he said he loved her. And she thought he meant it. She thought he did love her. She didn't know if he actually did but she wanted to believe he did.

After she finished the song, a few costumers clapped for her, she smiled at the gesture. The family that walked in first still caught her eye. The boys who looked her age, looked the same. Maybe they were triplets? She didn't know. She played a few more songs. Some unreleased and some released. She knew no one in that café knew her because it was like all old people well besides the first family. The old people liked her songs. The family did too.

Dani was packing up her guitar, preparing to head home before someone tapped on her shoulder. It was one of the boys that walked in with his family.

"Hi, my names Nick and you were really good." The boy said. She could tell he was Gay. (Idk) she smiled and thanked him.

"Thank you. And I'm Dani." She said zipping her guitar case, and standing back up.

"You look familiar, I feel like I've seen you before?" He said with a face of confusion or trying to recall where he had seen her.

"I just have one of those faces I guess" she said hoping he wouldn't find out about her relation to Colby or Sam or Olivia. They talked for a little before Nick asked a question.

"I don't mean to sound like creepy and like crazy but can I have your number?" He said pulling out his phone, she nodded and put her phone number into his phone.

"And by the way I'm a triplet. That's Chris, that's Matt. And our older brother Justin and our parents Mary-Lou and Jimmy" (I hope that's right yall) Nick said pointing to his family. Dani smiled. They looked like a cool family. Unlike her family. Well her brother was okay.

It had been about 4 months. (They haven't moved to LA yet btw) Dani and the triplets had become best friends. The triplets were at Dani's house.

"Why are you just eating a bowl of mashed patatoes?" Chris asked as Dani ate the mashed potatoes.

"Umm because it's good?" Dani said sarcastically.

"Okay but you don't have cheese or anything besides butter on it?"

"You eat pasta without anything but butter and you don't see me complaining about that now do you?" She said taking another spoonful of mashed potatoes.

"Your weird"

"But you love me anyways right?"

"Perhaps...."
