"We should go on a date....or something."

Liam laid across Zayn on the couch, refusing to kiss or hold him, just simply laying his body down. Liam shrugged, typing away on his phone. He wasn't really saying anything on his device, he just couldn't keep those words out of his head.

"I love you;" it was a lie but yet Zayn said it. He could not love him; He used him for sexual pleasures and he keeps dragging him back for more. Liam's heart is connected to the man he lays upon and it is definitely stretching his heart strings.

"Liam," Zayn grabbed at his jawline and turned his head so he had no other choice than to stare at those hazel eyes. It never ceased to take his breath away and let his mind stop its engines. All he could focus on was Zayn. His fingers pressured into his face, enough to show the dominance and the need to be attended to. Liam could not help but want to kiss him, to make him prove that it was only him. It had to be only him, or it was no one at all.

"Please?" Zayn spoke and Liam almost missed it, too lost in his thoughts to fully pay attention. Liam's body responded before his mind did and he is lucky they are both on the same page. He shook his head, getting off of him. "I can't keep doing this, Zayn. I just can't." His voice cracked and there was cracks in the foundation of his statement. Liam knows, somewhere deep within him, that he would do anything to keep Zayn in his arms forever. Zayn frowned and Liam fought against his heart to not give in. He took another breath, exhaling, before continuing.

"One day you will have to choose Zayn. It will either be my sister or me. You choose me, you deal with Perrie, with your own sexuality, to everyone. How will you explain that, huh? Will you tell everyone we had sex because you liked me while you was dating Perrie?" He felt a whole in his chest, an emptiness he could only explain as numbness. Zayn reached to him and Liam allowed it, although he shouldn't of.

"I would choose you," Zayn admitted, "I don't know how I am going to do it or when I will, but I want you. I never thought it would get to this point, Liam. I tried for a long time to stop looking at you or thinking of you, but I couldn't help it. Liam you amaze me and I fell for you. I made the dumb mistake of loving Perrie in the process. I am sorry." The last three words were slowly spoken with emphasis and Liam felt the cave in his chest expand. Liam squeezed Zayn and his' intertwined fingers, doing nothing more; They continued doing that in silence. Liam let his mind go over the thousands of endings to this relationship, or whatever this was. Is it worth it? Hurting himself? His sister?

"Zayn," Liam broke the silence, "one day I will choose you too. But for now, you need to fix this. You need to fix things with Perrie. I won't keep running around with you while you hurt her and me. I can't do this right now. I want you to figure out your feelings first. I will be here if you decide to come back. But if you don't, I will understand." Zayn looked up at him with watery eyes and Liam pushed himself forward to embrace the man. Wetness spread onto his shirt and Zayn clung to him like he didn't want to let him go. Liam hugged him the same, but his mind was made up.

Liam kissed his hair, letting Zayn cry it out. No one spoke for an hour, the TV no longer cared for. Zayn went limp, his steady breaths indicating that he was asleep. Liam continued to hold him, knowing the longer he held him, the more the hole in his chest filled with the boy he's holding. Liam couldn't help but kiss his face softly so that he wouldn't wake him. Liam knew, in the back of his thoughts, that he was beginning to love Zayn. He knew nothing real about him other than his name and his family. Zayn wore a mask and built walls around anyone who got too close.

Around sundown, Zayn awoke again, his face dried from tears. He kept his face blank as he moved away from Liam. He replied to a couple of texts before throwing his phone somewhere in the distance. There was no crash impact, just a soft thud. He placed his head in hands, running his fingers through his hair in the process. Liam watched as he stressed himself out, unable to do anything without getting to close to the man. Liam got up to leave, but Zayn was up in an instant, grabbing at him arm with pleading eyes.

"Please stay." Liam couldn't say no. And he could not say no as Zayn kissed his neck and marked his property in desperation. It felt like goodbye; every touch lingered and had meaning. Liam kissed him like it was the last time he was going to, although it could very well be the last time. Liam took over and Zayn let him, writhing under Liam with every movement.

It didn't feel like sex. It felt like something more real. Zayn whispered how much he loved him in his hear and Liam tried his best to ignore it, to ignore this fire that burns within him when he hears those words. Liam kissed everywhere he could find, being extra careful because Zayn was fragile. Liam never expected Zayn to be so fragile before, but now he knows better. Liam whispered sweet nothings, loving the way Zayn moaned afterward, clinging to him just as much as he did earlier. They shattered when they climaxed, kissing each other like it was the last tine. It was goodbye in a way only they could do it. Zayn pulled him in close, refusing to let go for the night and Liam stayed willingly.

Morning broke and Liam forced himself out of bed. He dressed himself, staring at Zayn's sleeping figure wondering how could he love such a beautiful man? He forced his legs to walk out of the house, not looking back because he knew.

If he looked back, he would never leave.

A/N: Hey guys! I am back, sorry it took 2 or 3 years but I love you if you're still here. Hope you like it.
