(Time skip-weeks later)
Amelia was tired. She realised she couldn't hold all of this pain to herself anymore. This would drive her insane. She decide she would approach Mia in the end. They were close friends since last year, and Amelia thought she could trust her.
A:*shyly, softly* "Mia...? I have something to tell you...I am not sure should I...though."
M:*Comforting, worried face* "Don't worry, you can tell me. I will listen. How 'bout we talk it over some bubble tea?"
A: *nods, reassured* "Alright. Thanks Mia. Knew I could trust you. This is what happened..."
M: "I see. I didn't even notice all this!(Innocent Unnie :D) Don't worry too much. You deserve WAY better friends. I can introduce you to some. I suggest you to stop being friends with her, alright? You're scared? Don't be. I'll go with you!
Amelia shot Mia a grateful look.
After that, Mia helps Amelia to do a little script to build her confidence.
(Time skip)
Mia gave Amelia a warm smile and encouraged her to go and confront Alexandra.
Amelia: *Deep breath* "Alex, we have to talk."
Alex:*smirks inwardly, thinking 'coward! Dare to challenge me?'* "Yea? What do you want?"-she taunted her menacingly.
Amelia:*gulps and takes an another deep breath* "I...think we can't be friends anymore. I'm done with you...and your...your rules. It was good being friends with you, but here ends out friendship. Bye."(*constant reference to her script, was nervous but had determined eyes*)
Alex:*scofts* "Are you serious? You EVEN need a script to tell me to stop being friends with you? Please, even a maniac can do better. How are you gonna survive without me, huh?"
Amelia: "I...I don't need you as my friend. Stop judging me."
By now, both felt anger and hatred rising from their conversations, especially for Alexandra. Amelia bit her lower lip in an effort to control her anger. She couldn't help but crumple her script. Alexandra noticed and took that personally.
Alex:*cracking in anger* "OH, so you, a pathetic little thing, wants to fight now? "
Amelia: "We could settle this rationally, but I won't back out from a fight."
She snapped at Alex, triggering her. Luckily, Mia and Chloe managed to pull both back in time. No one noticed it, but Amelia seemed to be glowering with anger. Her eyes were on fire.
(Alex POV)
Chloe: "Alex, it's not worth it to fight with her. Look at her, peasant, good-for-nothing girl. Leave it."
Alex: "NO WAY! You know I hate it when things don't go my way!"
Chloe: "SHHH. They'll hear you. It doesn't matter. Don't you see? She won't do you anything good. You can't even use her to do the simplest tasks. And you can stop acting to be her friend but do proper revenge on her. Ykyk?"
Alex: *thinks about it for a moment, and her lips twisted into an evil smile.* "Right...I'll 'let her go'. Shall we?"
Chloe nods and smirked at the thought of Amelia's downfall. Together, they approached Amelia, towering over her.
Alex: "Amelia...if you don't want to be my friend, then...it's fine. But don't regret it..."
(she speaks in a tone too sweet and kind...)
(Amelia POV)
Just like that, Alex and Chloe strutted off. Not even a single appreciation to our now-dead friendship. Though I knew it long ago, the pain of losing a friend I had known for so long just...went off. It stabbed me in the heart, straight through. At that point, I couldn't hold it anymore. Tears started streaming down. Mia noticed it and placed her hand around my shoulders as an attempt to comfort me. I didn't move away and continued sobbing away. "There, there. Don't cry. It's all over now."
It will take me awhile to get over with our "friendship", but I think I will manage it. Now, my friend group had split into two. One with Alex, Chloe and a few others. The other with me, Emma and Mia.
Note: I'm sorry I did not update for quite some time...but this is one of my longest chapter yet. I was too busy with a project TT. Keep reading! It won't end here!
