Chapter 90: Together We-

Yibo took me to a large shopping center. It is a three-story building, and the entire place is dedicated to grooming. Many people are busy throughout the area.

I ask Yibo, "What are we doing here? It seems the whole place is for women's clothing."

Yibo replies, "We are for window shopping then will accidentally meet someone."

Okay. I got his plan.

The lady he mentioned should arrive at this hour; we'll meet her 'by chance' to discuss various topics. I will also try to show her my designs if they suit her taste.

Of course, we won't brag or beg. That's too cheap.

We look around as we go forward. As we are men, another man with a French-cut beard comes to attain us.

"Um, we are looking for a dress...for...um," he looks at me, "How tall is your sister?"

My sister? Wait, I need to play along. I picture Shiji, Jiang's sister and describe her.

As I scanned the room, I spotted a distinguished figure—surely the person Yibo had mentioned. I didn't need to ask; her presence made it clear. I felt a sense of familiarity, as if I had seen her photos in the news or magazines before. 

Yibo noticed her too but remained where he was. We walked toward her while continuing our conversation. 

We were shown a dress, and even though we were just pretending to be interested, I couldn't help but comment, "Not this yellow. She is a kind and gentle lady, and this is for an afternoon garden party. This color won't suit her at all." 

"We meet again." A woman's voice stopped me.

She noticed Yibo and came over to greet him. Yibo immediately turned to her and politely replied. Then her eyes fell on me, and I thought she might have heard me speaking as well. I was supposed to feel shaken, but for some reason, I felt quite confident instead. Although she had a professional vibe and intense eyes, I realized she wasn't a bad person at all.

Seeing her approaching us, the salesman leave us.
Yibo then says, "It's so nice to meet you here. Also, I am sorry, I had to leave last night's dinner party after the show early. I had something to do as my partner was coming today, you see."

"Your partner? What business?"

"No no. My life partner." *Smile* "Let me introduce with you. He is -"

I also smile at her and we shake hands. She dances her eye brows with a curl on her lips. 

"Oh what a lucky meeting it was!!! I met you twice and even your partner is here! Mr. Yibo, you probably already know I have no interest in common or boring things. And I love your choice. Always. It's unique. Even when you are choosing partner. Ohh!"

Yibo smiles politely and shyly.

"Yes, you told me. 30 people in the gathering wearing the same C****** coat as me but you liked how I styled it."
