A/N: 280 reads?! Thank you all so much, it's possible I will post only one chapter a week since school started again, and Hayate suspects something, especially since his crow never returned.

Hayate, Mizuhara and Kaminari were training at the training ground. It's been a few hours since Hayate sent his crow to spy on Michikatsu, but it never returned.

"Damn it, where's my crow?!" Hayate was frustrated, his crow was fast and it usually came an hour later. But now, 8 hours passed and it still didn't return.

Mizuhara also found it suspicious, it was sent to spy on Michikatsu and it didn't return?

"Don't worry Hayate, I'm sure it's still alive" Kaminari did his best to reassure him, but he himself didn't sound confident at all.

Hayate didn't miss the unsureness in his tone, which made him stress more, his companion just...disappeared.

"Kaminari, I don't remember my crow ever taking this long to spy on someone. Even if the person was in the other end of Japan, it still came 2 hours later, max 3 hours" Hayate was beyond furious and sad, this crow helped him so much to become a Hashira.

"Caw caw! HAYATE, KAMINARI, MIZUHARA BAD NEWS BAD NEWS!" Mizuhara's crow was flying like crazy, and there was something in it's claws.

"What is it? Tell everything clearly!" Kaminari responded to the stressed crow, the crow flew down and dropped a dead crow.

Hayate gasped in horror when he saw his crow...absolutely..destroyed. It's wings were crooked, clearly broken, claws were also broken, it's beak upper beak was missing, and the crows organs were showing. It was clearly dead. His crow...

It always gave him some advice during training, it brought him water when he needed it, and now he's just..missing..

"I'll fucking get to you Michikatsu" Hayate whispered in a menacing tone, which sent shivers down both, Mizuhara's and Kaminari's spine.

"What do you plan t-?" Kaminari wanted to ask but was interrupted when Hayate landed a fist on a sparring doll, destroying it in pieces.

Hayate was trembling from anger, hatred and sadness. His crow was like a friend to him, almost all his time was spent with his crow supervising him, and making sure he's safe.

"We will have a Hashira meeting tomorrow..right..?" He asked them quietly, Mizuhara didn't find the courage to answer him, but Kaminari did.

"Yes, Michikatsu will also be there tomorrow" he replied, unsure of what Hayate was planning to do.

"He will regret it..he will regret everything, I will ruin his entire life..Buddha himself will be the witness..."

Mizuhara thought Hayate just needed time to cool off, but he doubts that will help him in any way. He isn't sure that Hayate will manage to ruin his life, but whatever floats his boat.

"Hayate, come on we will bury it, go and rest!" Kaminari pleaded but Hayate harshly pushed him, "I will go, but watch me destroy Michikatsu's whole life"

"You will, you will now go and rest, tomorrow we have a meeting, you will encounter him there" Kaminari was relieved when he saw Hayate leave, and Mizuhara was petrified when he saw the state Hayate's crow was in.

"Mizuhara, we also need to go and rest"

"Alright"

Hayate's flashback

"You *hic* absolute disgrace *hic* you should've *hic* never been born *hic* in the first place, but your whorish mother *hic* lied to me, about being rich *hic* now I'm stuck with both of your *hic* asses here" his father finished his tale he always told him when he was drunk.
