My friends been acting weird for days.

At first, I was letting it slide but they starting to get on my nerves because wtf y'all got going on?

"Aye, what's up with y'all?" I question.

"Nothing." They say in unison.

"Lying when I've known y'all my whole life is fucking crazy."

They exchange looks trying to decide if they should tell me whatever they know.

"Man, just tell me." I sigh.

I've gotten enough bad news in my life to know that this is finna ruin my day.

"That shit you said at the nail shop about not knowing how MJ got here stuck with me so I called Caresha's best friend JT..." Latto says.

I furrow my brow.

When did JT get out of jail?

"They beefing right now so it was easy to get info out of her." She continues.

"And?" I ask.

"She drugged you." Latto says looking down at her lap.

My heart starts pounding.

Fuck she mean Caresha drugged me?

"What?"

I heard her wrong or something because ain't no fucking way.

"She drugged you and had sex with you. She was trying to get pregnant and come up off of the money your dad left you... When her mom found out what she did, she moved her to Dallas to keep you from finding out and going to the cops."

I put my head on the table and close my eyes. I feel fucking sick.

Poking holes in the condom was a violation I was ready to accept but full on rape is too much.

I hear Jojo and MJ wake up from their naps and I never lift my head from the table.

Glo and Latto go into auntie mode and I really appreciate them for that because I can't fucking move.

If I lift my head from this dining room table, everything will be real.

After a while, I hear Bey come home from work.

She asks me what's wrong but I can't say anything.

I hear my friends explain to her what Caresha did to me.

I feel her rubbing my back but I can't move.

She stays next to me while Latto and Glo take care of the kids.

"Baby, you gotta get up. Please." Bey says.

I can tell she's crying and I feel like shit for making her cry but I can't live right now.

Megan has been at the table for 6 hours.

I've been sitting here with her for 4.

Glo and Alyssa are still here and now Kelly and Michelle are as well.

I've never seen her like this.

Mason came over and said a new word ("play") and she didn't even flinch.

I don't know what to do.

She is just getting adjusted to having a surprise son.

Now she finds out he's the product of sexual assault.

I know from experience that shit hurts.
Those feelings are complicated.

Latto and Kelly call me to the kitchen for a moment.

"I'll be right back, baby." I tell Megan before I walk into the other room.

"We got an idea but you might not like it." Latto says. 

"What is it?" I ask, already skeptical.

"Victoria." Kelly says.

They gotta be outta their fucking minds.

"You want to bring her ex in here? For what?"

"Not on no weird shit, Bey." Kelly says.

"She was with Meg when she was like this before. She knows how to get her up." Latto explains.

I sigh.

"Call her but if I lose my girlfriend I'm beating both of y'all asses."
