Omniscient
Beyoncé has been despondent since she got back from the program a few days ago.
She's like a zombie and Keri, who never paid her sister much attention before, is really concerned.
Their father doesn't seem to care and their mother seems happy that Beyoncé is so... depressed.
It's like she wants Beyoncé completely broken because she's easier to manipulate.
She's been locked in her room all day.
She hasn't been eating.
It's like she wants to disappear... or die?
Keri's heart drops.
Shit. She wants to die.
"Beyoncé?" Keri calls out knocking on her sister's bedroom door.
She doesn't hear anything in response.
Usually, Bey would tell her to fuck off or something.
The silence on the other side of the door is deafening.
She jiggles the doorknob.
It's locked.
She yells for her brother while knocking again, unable to shake the weird feeling in her chest.
"What?" Stayve questions peering out of his room.
"Break her door."
"Are you crazy? I'm not breaking her door." He says. "You always bothering her... leave her alone."
"I have a weird feeling and she's not responding. Please?" She says almost in tears.
She already feels ridiculously guilty for getting Beyoncé sent away to begin with.
She couldn't take it if Bey killed herself.
"You're explaining this shit to mom and dad..." Stayve sighs.
—Later—
"You tried to hang yourself?" Tina says peering down at her daughter.
Beyoncé sighs.
She didn't try to hang herself.
She did hang herself.
Her aggravating ass siblings just couldn't let her go.
Who knew Keri could perform CPR?
"You don't want me here and I don't want to be here. I'm trying to make it easier on everybody." Beyoncé's hoarse voice expresses.
Her esophagus is bruised and it hurts to talk but she felt compelled to explain.
"Beyoncé..." Tina sighs sitting on the edge of the small hospital bed.
Bey glances up at her mother, searching for any indication that she is wrong about what she's been feeling.
Her mother brushes a stray hair out of her face and gazes at her intently, studying her.
She rests her hand on Beyoncé's cheek and the younger girl leans into the touch, enjoying the feeling of having a mother.
Maybe her family does care about her and she just read everything wrong?
Maybe she's crazy and her parents just want to help her get well?
"I wish they hadn't found you in time." Tina says softly. "Next time, do it right..."
