Bonnie watched Amour as she slept. She wondered how she could fix the situation. Make it better. she just wanted Amour to be better. She wanted to be a better Mom. She moved to the kitchen and began preparing breakfast.

Amour woke an hour later. She went to the kitchen to see her mother there. "Hey! I was thinking we could sit down and eat breakfast," she gestured to the table of waffles, eggs, and bacon. Amour preferred pancakes, she didn't like eggs and she preferred sausage. Which her mother used to know about her. Amour frowned immediately.

"Why?"

"We can spend some time together."

"Why?"

"What do you mean?" Bonnie asked, her throat a little achy.

"Why now?" she asked but when Bonnie opened her mouth she stopped her, "You know what, doesn't even matter. I'm headed to the library. I have homework to catch up on." She fire traveled away before her mother could have said another word. Both people were frustrated. Bonnie didn't know what she did wrong. Amour knew exactly what she did wrong but wouldn't tell her. In Amour's mind, her mother was the adult, she should have known.

Amour got to the library and right in front of the circulation desk. Dorian jumped as she arrived. "Sorry," she said honestly.

"It's all good. You're the first student that can do that," he said to her, "But at least now the books stay in the library."

"Hey, I read mostly on the branch closest to the library."

"Small blessings," he said and she smirked. Then his face went serious and she was nervous, "How have you been? Really?" She sighed. She knew people asked but no one meant it. Not really. They didn't want her to know. They just wanted her to say she's okay.

"I'm -"

"Don't say okay. Or I will have to call Emma," he teased, mentioning their school counselor.

"I'm working through it all. But I kind of just want to be left alone. I'm going to find a dark corner. Is that okay?"

"Sure. But you know, you can talk to me," he said. She only talked to him about one thing really. Her father. because like Dorian's family, he'd been killed by Stefan Salvatore, the Great Savior. Amour nodded at him before going to find a spot.

She brought out her textbooks and got to work. She was there for hours. She heard a cuple come in. Heard every single time their lips came together and she grimaced. "No one knows we're here right?" she heard someone say.

"No. Now relax," the clearly male voice said. They kept kissing and Amour dry gagged.

"Ouch!" the female voice said.

"What?"

"Something just pinched me. Or bit me."

"What? A bookworm?" he teased her.

"That's not- Ouch!"

"Ow!" the guy said. They kept saying it as they moved out of there. Amour didn't know what was pinching. But at the moment she was thankful for it.

Amour grabbed some food at the cafeteria. She reached in for a bagel and winced when she felt something sharp around her finger. She pulled her finger out to see it bleeding. She was surprised. "What?" she looked in there to see a tiny little humanoid winged creature. She picked it up by its wings, "What are you?" she asked. She looked around and no one else had seen it. She grabbed a togo coffee cup and put the creature in there before taking it with her.

Amour found herself back in the library as she tried to find out what the creature was. Then the chaos started. Amour heard the screaming and left her book and the cup, it was trying to get off the table, constantly shaking as she went out into the main part of the library. The screams got louder as they opened the door and there was a swarm that they wwere tyring to escape/ They opened then shut the door. It shook as the creatures tried to get in. THe ones that did were hit with books and stomped on with boots. It was the typical people. Lizzie, Josie, MG, Kaleb, Rafael, Landon, and Hope. "Okay, what are those things?" Lizzie asked as she grimaced at her shoe and Josie took one out of her hair.

"I think they're Imps," Amour answered. Everyone turned and looked at her.

"Why?" Dorian asked.

"I grabbed one. I've been comparing it to the mythology books. Pixies, fairies. But I think, from the swarm, that they're Imps," she said. She brought them all to where her table was. Half of it was school work. The other half was the research. She also picked up the paper cup. It was shaking but she held it firm as she quickly reached in and grabbed the creature by their wings. Everyone took a look at it.

"Okay, so we know what it is. how do we get rid of them?" Josie asked.

"the book doesn't say," Amour said. Dorian looked over the book and thought.

"Wait, I think I know a way. We just need to get them away from here."

"No, we need to get rid of them. We can't just put them in another part of the human world," aMour objected, "I have an idea." It was a circle that acted like a door. She'd seen it in Zankou's books that would take the portal right to the underworld. She grabbed candles.

Amour set up the circle. "Where is Wyatt?" Josie asked her as she was doing it. She looked over at the girl suspiciously.

"Why do you care?"

"I'm not interested in him in that way. I was just curious."

"He went home to spend time with his Mom and siblings. He has a little brother that's two years younger than him and a little sister that's like five years younger, I think."

"Will they come here one day?"

"I don't know," she said.

"You really like him?" she asked. Amour looked up again.

"I do. It feels like he accepts me for me. Not just accepts me, cares about me."

"I get it. I want someone like that."

"You're like a perfect person, Josie. I'm sure you'll get it."

"I'm not perfect."

"No. Of course not," she said with a roll of her eyes.

"I'm not. I might not be Lizzie. Or you. Or hope. But I've got my issues too." Amour nodded.

"I'm sorry."

"It's fine. So can I help you?"

"I'm almost done. Just go with everyone else to open the door when I say so," Amour said. Josie went to the door. Amour began chanting, her eyes going black. It wasn't connecting with the source. Just with Underworld magic. It didn't feel evil or bad. The portal was a dark swirled hole, "Now!" They opened the double doors and they went straight in. It took a minute and Amour had to keep chanting. It took a couple minutes and by the time they were gone, blood poured from her nose.

"Amour, stop!" Josie shouted.

"Amour!" Hope said. She grabbed her hand. Amour stopped chanting. She swayed and Hope caught her as she fell.

Amour woke up with a gasp. She was in the infirmary. Her mother was right there next to her. "I'm so glad you're okay," she said. She went to hug aMour but Amour moved out of it quickly.

"I'm fine." Alaric was there too.

"Amour, where did you send the imps?" Alaric asked her.

"Into the Underworld."

"I thought we talked about this. No more demonic magic," Bonnie scolded her.

"It wasn't demonic. It was just a portal. I could handle it. I was fine! Why do you care anyway?"

"Amour, I care about you," Bonnie said, tears streaming down her face, "I just want to help you. I just want-"

"I don't care! I'm fine," she said then fire traveled away. Bonnie sat in the room crying as she stared at the empty bed. Alaric didn't know what to do.

Amour traveled to home and Wyatt was there. She grabbed her head, which was spinning. "You okay?" Wyatt asked her. She looked up at him.

"Just a little dizzy. How was your trip?"

"Fun. Anything interesting happen here?"

"Just the usual," she said.
