"Mr. Jason I have the results from the blood work our staff had taken while you were in an unconscious state." The doctor said.
"What is it doc." Jason quickly replied wanting the answers.
"You severely damaged you're heart. It has become unstable with an unregulated pattern." The doctor said.
"What does that mean?" I asked.
"His heart beat pattern isn't normal anymore and will need a pacemaker, but thats really expensive." The doctor replied.
"I don't think my mom would pay or keep my insurance up." Jason turned to me and looked into my eyes.
"What if he doesn't get the pacemaker?" I asked
"It could cause fatigue, lightheadedness, shortness of breath, fainting, and his symptoms could worsen and could cause the heart to stop beating." The doctor replied.
"May we have a few minutes please?" Jason asked
"Ofcourse. I'll be back in five." The doctor said while walking out of the room.
"What do we do Steven?" He asked me with tears in his eyes. We don't have the money and it could possibly kill me!"
