Kevin stands there as he fidgets with his fingers, his mind stuck on something. Radford shows up in the Candy Club uniform, smiling like always. Kevin smiles a little at seeing his boyfriend, although he still wasn't in a great mood. "Hey, Kevs. Sorry I'm late, the movie theater needed help because some kid spilled their popcorn all over the damn place." Radford says, as he adjusts his glasses.
Kevin shrugs as he runs a hand through his black hair. "No it's fine, at least you still showed up to help me out." Radford frowns a little as he sees that something's wrong with Kevin. He hated seeing him so stressed out almost all the time, although he gets it, since those two kids been bringing Kevin trouble since day one of working here. Still, Radford felt a lot more happier whenever he sees Kevin smile.
Radford let's out a sigh as he steps behind the counter where Kevin was, as he gently puts a hand on Kevin's shoulder "You had the nightmare again, huh?" Kevin nods his head, as he rubs his face and lets out a sigh. "Yeah, I have. Those damn kids always cause problems for me! I don't remember the last time I had a "good nights rest", he says while doing air quotes.
Radford nods his head as he runs his hand through Kevin's hair. "I'm sorry, I really am. I know how much it's taken a toll on you and your mental state." He wraps an arm around Kevin's torso as he spoke with a soft smile. "How about after work we do whatever you want for the rest of the day? Movies, drinking, cuddling, or even just resting, I'm fine with it. I want to make you feel better at least, and that's all that matters to me."
Kevin lifts his head up slightly as he looks at Radford. He doesn't move or respond for a moment, the silence filling the shop. He then slowly raises his hand up and held Radford's hand as well, smiling softly. "Thanks, Radford. I honestly appreciate it." Radford smiles back at him as he gives him a side hug, as well as a kiss on the cheek. "There's that smile I've wanted to see."
