Diana was seated at the doctor's launch drinking her coffee in silence. She can feel her pregnancy weighing her down finally considering she's one week to her due date. Jason walked in the room with a mischievous smile on his face and she raised an eyebrow.

"What's wrong with you?" She said silently and he excitedly took a seat and sat down in front of her.

"You have questions to answer but instead you've pumped me with patients after patients but now am on a break." Dr Malik said and she took another sip of her coffee.

"You have nothing important to do on your free time other than gossip?"

"It's not gossip if it's about you–"

"Don't you have to take a shit or something?"

"I already did so now my questions... "

"Oh boy–"

"Are you and the Italian dating?"

"No."

"Okay have you two kissed?"

"I think I've given you too much freedom for a fucking intern..."

"So I take that as a yes–"

"No. Are you dumb or something? Am pregnant fool–"

"So what if you're pregnant. You're not supposed to get some now?"

"Yeah I've given you too much freedom..."

"How about this... Do you like him?"

"He's okay–"

"That's not the question."

"Am not willing to be in any relationship at the moment. All am thinking about is how the fuck am going to get this baby out of me."

"I hear you but–"

"But nothing. We didn't make out, we didn't hook up, yes he's an amazing guy but that is what Miguel was too before I found out he's been fucking my best friend. So no buts...am not ready for any relationship at the moment." She said sternly and Malik smiled.

"I understand you but don't let the mistake of one man ruin your future with another." He said silently and she smiled as his pager beeped.

"Run shadow..." She said as he looked at the pager.

"Don't build your hopes up." He said getting up and she chuckled.

"Am ready to cut." She said wiggling her fingers and he laughed before rushing out.
She rubbed her belly gently leaning further back to her seat and her phone buzzed.

Hi... I know you are probably busy right now but I was really hoping I could take you out for dinner.

I understand. When do you start your maternity leave?
