This ship was like a maze.

The game didn't show any other room besides location related to the plot, but roaming around here made me wonder - what potential should I get in this room?

The room isn't necessarily filled with good stuff, well, unless you're really into foam that is. But each has vents that are free from foams. I'm assuming that the vents lead from anywhere because this is where air is recycled.

I walk towards the next turn of the corridor but instead, bump into Daisuke. Both of us fell on the hollow metal floor.

"(N/N)? Are you okay?" Daisuke stood up and helped me stand on my feet.

"Where have you been? I've been finding you y'know" I said as I dusted myself.

"Oh, I went to the bathroom" Daisuke chuckled, "I got a huge diarrhea today. Sorry if I made you worry"

I doubted it - but who knows? I mean, Maybe everything has changed since (N/N) existed in the Mouthwashing universe. Contexts such as this may be possible. Ideally speaking, since (N/N) managed to change some of the stories, some rescue teams from Earth managed to track as down... hopefully.

"We should eat dinner with the others" Daisuke grinned. Showing me his touchscreen watch - 7:15 pm - it states, "There's still canned ham, I don't want the others emptying them before I do. The canned ham foods are slowly diminishing"

After all we've been threw, Daisuke is far more worried about his favourite food... I kinda envy his simplicity. I wonder what is it like to be as simple as him. There's always been a quote that happiness comes from appreciating little things in life.

"Here, I fix your phone" I handed him the phone I'd fixed a while ago.

Daisuke stands frozen to witness his phone with a new feature. The screen was a bit bluish - I made it that way for eye protection. It turns out that (N/N) knowledge regarding mechanics exceeds both physics and chemistry.

"Thank you! I didn't expect you'd also have that talent. Why does the screen look like that tho?" Daisuke speculates the phone with a huge smile.

We walked side by side through this metallic corridor and explained to him what happened when he ran off to the bathroom. Though I didn't tell him about the fight between Swansea and Jimmy.

"I can't believe it. Where both go home and I'll be contributing to it. I can't wait for another tomorrow!" Daisuke cheered, raising his arms.

I saw it again, the same scratch on his top arm, but unlike a while ago - it got many this time.

"Daisuke" I held his wrist, stopping him from his track, "What's that in your arm?"

"Oh, I..." He tried to resist my arm but failed to do so, "I told you, there's mosquitoes everywhere" Daisuke's palm was sweating all of a sudden.

"Don't lie to me" I frown, "Mosquitoes don't do damage like that if anything - they leave spots like rashes and not some slit-" I trailed off.

It dawned on me...

Daisuke's been...

"Daisuke..." I hold both of his hands, "Please, you can tell me anything" My tone was soft and gentle.

Daisuke avoided my gaze, "There nothing else to tell, (N/N)" He sighed while lowering his gaze, "I'm just weak, that's all"

I never viewed him as weak, if anything, Daisuke was the bravest person I've ever met. If anything goes wrong, he always stays positive. He views the world in a good way - something the whole needed because of its cruelty.
