The door shuttle opens revealing Anya and Daisuke. Both look at me with a mouth wide, seemingly unbelievable as to what they are seeing right now.
Curly is wrapped in a new clean bandage, and new hospital gown, and is lying comfortably on the clean sheet of the bed. There was a tube beneath Curly to enable him to pee whenever he wanted and a fluid sack and another blood sack normally found in hospital-hanging from a pole, its tube extended to Curlies wrist.
A heart monitor 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒑 from Curlie's side, Curlie's amputated limbs are now tightly stitched and wrapped in soft garments that function like socks, and throughout all this-Curlie was sleeping peacefully.
"Dude! This is amazing!" Daisuke said, "Can you do the same for me? Like, in a not bloody way but in a baby manner way? I hate sleeping on the floor"
"You also cleaned up this whole place..." Anya gazed around with awe, "And Captain Curlie, I never seen him sleep like that. He is normally awake. (N/N), this is amazing... Can you teach me?"
"Quite down, guys. Captain is sleeping, we don't want to disturb him, and don't touch that Daisuke" I said.
I'll say that this is just going well. The medical knowledge in my head helps me throughout this whole process. As long as Curlie is comfortable, I'm comfortable as well.
"Come to think of it, what was my role again here?" I ask. They look at me confused making me embarrassed about myself. Though they did tell me either way.
So, I was right. My role was being both a doctor and engineer. (N/N) is quite talented. I also discovered that (N/N) had a crush on Curlie because of Daisuke's teasing.
That's very new, I mean, I wouldn't complain if me and Curlie have a real relationship. With my medical knowledge, I could take care of him forever and-WOW WOW WOW! I need to stop thinking of this, I'm just a minor in my original world and this whole thing sounds crazy. I don't even live here.
But, I can't help blushing about me and Curlie... I do have a crush on Curlie...
The door shuttle opens again revealing Jimmy. His eyes widened in surprise because of Curlie's new condition. But I could gamble that his eyes didn't show any amazement, it was fear...
"Oh, you did this, (N/N)?" Jimmy eyed me sceptically.
"You bet she did, hehe" Daisuke clapped my back softly, "Amazing, right? I was thinking that maybe I should get a lesson from her as well, I mean, Swansea is already giving me one but that's just mechanics stuff"
"I see..." Jimmy scratches the back of his head.
"Are you okay, Jimmy?" I ask.
"Yeah, it's just, surprising. Thank you, (N/N). I should have expected this from you because I've been dreading about Curlie's situation" Jimmy smiled.
Should I take that as a fact? In the original game, Jimmy did care about Curlie, I think... I don't know anymore.

Jimmy told us that dinner starts later before leaving. Anya said her farewell as well leaving me and Daisuke alone.
"Y'know, I learned many things during this trip. I guess my mom was right, I could learn from all of you guys, even if some are quite disturbing" Daisuke said.
"What do you mean?"
"I don't know. All of this thing is new to me but... but everything gonna be okay. Everyone in this crew is reliable, especially you, (N/N)" Daisuke grinned.
"You are always optimistic, Daisuke. That's admirable" I smiled back.
"You think so?"
Me and Daisuke leave the clinic and walk through the corridor. Some corridors are quite foamy and quite dangerous if exposed for long. It's better to stay away.
We talk for a moment about things like how Swansea is so grumpy and that Swansea have a soft spot.
I enjoyed his company. Among the other crew, Daisuke strike me the most since he gives me a golden retriever vibe and face-to-face with him-it feels like I'm talking to a little sibling.
He simply does things even if he fails and does them again. The game alone shows his desire to not give up on despair.
"I miss my family" Daisuke started, "Do you, (N/N)?"
"Yes," I lied. I have no idea if I have a family here or not. I kinda wish I was an orphan here so that I don't force myself to love the random family I don't know.
"My mom forced me to this internship so that maybe I could have a clear future of what I want in life. Plus, strict rules in here-my mom hopes that I could be disciplined by it"
"Is it working?" I ask acting dumb.
As far as I'm aware, Daisuke implied that he is the type of person who doesn't have a clear way of life. In the end, before dying, he said that he had a hard time finding meaning or purpose.
"I don't know. But maybe impressing Swansea is a good motivation right now" He grinned.
I patted his head, "You're just a kid, Daisuke"
"What do you mean, (N/N)"
"You're in your golden age, Daisuke. You have so much time to choose who you wanna be. I can help you with that" I reassuringly shuffle his hair.
He gave me that smile again. That smile filled with positivity, "Thank you... I guess I do wanna be a nurse like you after seeing what you did to Captain Curly. But I also wanna be a mechanic like Swanse"
"That's the spirit!" I encourage.
We both continue to walk while chatting about ut favourite movies and chuckling quite often.
When we reach the living room-err-kitcher-whatever this room is called. Daisuke ran to his bedside on the floor and grabbed his phone. He approaches me but trips making him fall.
I panicked and ran towards him, "Are you okay?" I knelt. Daisuke seated upright, there was a small bump on his forehead but overall his fine.
"Yeah, haha" He chuckled. I helped him stand up but while doing so, I felt something at the top of his arm.
It's a bunch of lines of bumps as if a sharp figure gently slit it. Some are fresh and some are healing.
"Daisuke, what's this?" I ask with a frown.
"Oh, haha, it's uhh... Scratches, yeah, scratches. There's so many m-mosquito here" Daisuke avoided my gaze, "I wanna go to the bathroom for a moment, excuse me" He dashes off.
I swore that it wasn't just scratches and there were no mosquitoes on the ship. I was gonna follow him but I noticed his phone on the floor. It's screen shattered.
I picked it up the broken phone and a sudden surge of knowledge surged into me. I feel like I know how to fix this broken phone of his...
Maybe I could test my knowledge right now.
