"You know, I have a doctor friend who I think could help you"  Peg says to Edward as they work on making supper with Adrastéa who rolls her eyes as Edward asks softly "really?"  Adra whispers softly to herself "my dear sweet Edward you are far too trusting!"  as Peg replies to Edward "yes and it looks like Adra has done a wonderful job with your scars"  Adra says "I like his scars, he's fine just the way he is and I won't allow ANYONE to change him in ANYWAY!"  Peg looks at her especially when her tone turns angry towards the end of her words Edward blushes with a smile just then Bill and Kevin walk into the kitchen and Kevin rushes over and gives Adra a excited hug as he says "you're back! man, I've missed you!"  Adra smiles at him then introduces him and his father to Edward and Kevin stares at Edward's hands in shock.... that night as they all ate dinner with Bill and Kevin Adra helps Edward eat then feeds herself from his plate as well which makes him smile she moves his cup of juice which she had put a straw in everytime he pointed at it to let her know he was thirsty and he gently took a drink from the straw his eyes locking on hers as she ate while he took a drink "well, this must-- this must be quite a change for you, right, Ed?"  Bill asks "Edward, dear I think he prefers Edward"  Peg tells her husband who says half paying attention to his wife "ah good"  then he asks Edward "so what have you been doing with yourself up there in that big old place? I bet the....I bet the view must be spectacular, huh, Ed?"  Peg corrects him once more "Edward"  Edward who was paying more attention to Adra than anything else looks at Peg and says "yes?"  Peg looks at him and says "Mmm no, I-- I was just...."  Bill says to Edward "see all the way to the ocean, I bet, huh?"  Edward replies "sometimes"  Bill looks at Adra and says "and you've been with him all this time huh!?"  Adra replies "yep, it's certainly been better than living with mom"  Bill chuckles as she continues "I've never felt more free than I did when I lived up there"  Edward smiles at her Bill on the other hand looked sad for everyone knew she hated living with her mother "Bill, could I have the salt and pepper, please?"  Peg asks her husband softly after she wipes her lips on her napkin she asks for it again a little louder after he doesn't answer and he hands her the salt and pepper with a hum then she thanks him "man, those things are cool you know, I bet they're razor sharp one karate chop to the guys neck--"  Kevin says as he looks at Edward's uncovered scissor hands he wanted to try to feed himself but didn't want to get his glove dirty so he had Arda take them off he tried picking up the utensils by his plate but Adra saw him fumble with them and decided she'd help him instead which he was grateful for it took a lot of concentration to try and pick up something as simple as spoon and he'd rather concentrate on her and his food than the silverware "Kevin"  Peg scolds gently yet sharply then she asks softly "Edward, would you like some butter with your bread?"  Edward looks at her and sees her holding a butter plate he nods then gently cuts some butter with one of his scissors "great!"  Peg says "thank you"  Edward says as he spreads the butter that is on his scissors onto his bread Arda smiles at him and he returns her smile with one of his own "hey, can I bring him to Show and Tell on Monday?"  Kevin asks Edward looks at Adra who explains "it's at his school, the kids are allowed to bring one thing from home to show to their fellow classmates and teacher and though I don't like the fact that he's treating you like a thing he can just show off at a whims notice instead of a person it's up to you if you want to go"  Edward nods with a smile then he picks up his napkin and dabs his mouth with it "good job, you did it without cutting yourself"  Adra says proudly Edward smiles then frowns when he sees her frown and he asks "what's wrong!?!"  she says softly with a hint of shame in her tone "I sounded more like a parent than a.... I'm sorry!"  he replies "it's ok, it made me happy"  she smiles then kisses his cheek and a blush blooms on them from the feel of the warm softness of her lips and he sets his napkin down.... a few minutes later Adra and Edward head down to the basement to try and get some sleep after saying goodnight to Peg, Bill and Kevin they lay down side by side Adra wearing Bill's old shirt that she gently took off Edward and Edward wearing his normal outfit for she had helped him take everything Peg gave him off Edward found that he liked sleeping down in the basement especially since Adra was with him just like at home and before they fell asleep he asks softly "what were you going to say!?!"  she looks up at him for her head was laying on his chest but when he spoke she wanted to try and look into his eyes so he knew she was listening and hums "hmm!?!"  he asks "after you said you "sounded more like a parent" you stopped, what were you going to say!?!"  she whispers "girlfriend"  he blushes then asks "why didn't you!?!"  she replies "I didn't want them to make a big deal out of it, unlike my mother I hate being the center of attention and they would have stared at us in shock Kevin might've even been a little disappointed he's had a crush on me for ages but he's far too young for me and I don't think I could see him in the way I see you"  he says "good!"  she smiles then kisses his lips and whispers as she places her head back on his chest "goodnight my Prince"  he replies with a smile "goodnight my Angel"  she blushes with a smile then closes her eyes and falls into a soft slumber and he follows her into Dreamland not too long after also with a smile on his face for he had somehow seen her blush and smile and made the decision that he was going to call her "his Angel" as often as possible for that is exactly what she is for she saved him from forever being lonely.... Peg walked down into the basement and smiled when she saw them sleeping she somehow knew they were in love and a part of her was happy for them for all she's ever wanted was Adra's happiness but there's a part of her that worries about it too especially since Edward has scissors for hands and he could accidently hurt her....
