Phukan didn't quite understand why he let him into his room.

Maybe it was because he knew who he was.

Maybe it was because he saw the gauze on his temple.

Maybe it was because he noticed the surprised look from his condo neighbors as they saw them hugging.

Whatever the reason, the guy was now sitting in his living room.

And why is he looking at me like that?

Phukan tried to be a good host by getting some water for his guest. But as soon as he glanced back at the guy, he flinched and quickly looked at the fridge. Phukan felt a hot flush spread across his back, sensing those sharp eyes still fixed on him.

Back in high school, Phukan had heard plenty of rumors about this senior. One of them was the nickname the girls gave him... the Ice Prince.

It wasn't because he looked like the male lead in some Korean drama but because of his personality.

Cirrus was always so indifferent to everyone, with eyes so cold that no one dared to approach him. He spoke so little that you could count his words. Yet, none of this diminished his popularity. On the contrary, the more he avoided people, the more the girls were head over heels for him.

Many of Phukan's friends speculated it was all because of his looks.

Phukan remembered one friend who jealously remarked, 'If he didn't look like that, who'd want to hang out with him? He's so arrogant.'

But Phukan never had the chance to talk to this senior, even though they went to the same school. As a 10th grader, he rarely saw the 12th grader. And even though they went to the same university, Cirrus studied business and accounting, so their paths never crossed.

At most, Phukan occasionally saw Cirrus's close friend, who was also a senior from their school.

That's all Phukan knew about this guy. So, he was utterly confused when he hugged him.

Well, I kinda understand the girls a bit now. P' Cir's hug was incredibly warm, enveloping me completely.

The thought made his face heat up, but he quickly brushed it aside.

"Here's your water."

"Phu."

"Yes?"

As soon as Phukan placed the glass of water in front of him, the man opened his mouth to speak but then fell silent, leaving Phukan tilting his head in confusion. His large eyes met Cirrus's sharp ones, and he couldn't help but think that maybe he wasn't that cold. He was just very stoic.

But Cirrus said nothing more, simply lifting the glass to take a sip.

It was a simple gesture that Phukan found himself admiring.

Up close, Phukan realized just how big Cirrus was. He might even be taller than Jin. And now he had the chance to really look at his sharp features, confirming that the rumors were true. Cirrus was handsome, even more so than Achira, the show-off. His thick eyebrows, sharp eyes, well-shaped nose, and thin lips, along with his strong jawline that looked even more rugged with a bit of stubble, made him look incredibly manly. Even the gauze on his temple didn't detract from his good looks.

And this good-looking guy was staring intently at Phukan.

"Uh, are you okay, P' Cir?"

Phukan hadn't turned on the air conditioner, but those sharp eyes made him feel an inexplicable chill. The rain outside did nothing to ease his discomfort, so he decided to break the silence.
