chapter 10 - Everyone here hates haunted houses except Minho and Seungmin

*Happy Halloween everyone!*

3rd Person POV:

Halloween came around in a blink of an eye. Everyone planned to meet at the Halloween fair.

At evening, Y/N got ready and was headed towards the fair. When she got there, she saw Jeongin dressed up as the joker, Changbin, Felix, Chan and Seungmin as vampires, Minho as Jang Man-Wol, Jisung as Goo Chan-Seong and Hyunjin as Go Chang-Myung (a/n: from skz del luna or hotel del luna), Byeol and Y/N as witches (a/n: bestie goals).

Y/N glanced at Chan and he did too at the same time. When their eyes locked, they looked away immediately.

"So Hyunjin, what made you become the love interest?" Byeol looked at Hyunjin.

"I didn't have any ideas until I heard these two are cosplaying as them so I decided to butt in."

"Ohh," Byeol said as she heard him. They roamed around the fair and bought food, ate as they walked.

Minho noticed a haunted house and said, "Let's go in there, it's gonna be fun," his eyes sparkled. "Absolutely not," Chan said, looking at his mischievous child. "Come on," he whined and grabbed Chan's arm, dragging him into the haunted house. Out of everyone, Seungmin looked the most excited after Minho.

After going there, they found out it was actually an escape room.

"Ohh~ double fun."

"We need to go in pairs!?" Byeol exclaimed as she read the rules. "And we have exactly 30 minutes to escape," Chan added. "Come on, let's pair," Minho held out his hand to play rock, paper and scissors.

They played and that's how Y/N ended up with Chan. Seungmin with Byeol. Jilix, Hyunho and Changin.

"I hope I don't pass out," Y/N put a hand on her chest to calm her heart. "I am sure you won't but if you do I'll be there to catch you," Chan smiled at her direction. She swore her stomach did a flip and left her heart feeling fuzzy. Her face flushed but due to the dim light of the escape room, he couldn't see it and she was thankful for it.

"Do you think they are gonna do something?" Minho wiggled his eyebrows towards Hyunjin.

"Who?"

"Y/N and Chan."

"Maybe." They both giggled like maniacs. Well this is the last time you're gonna hear Hyunjin laugh, all he did afterwards was screams of horror.

"I swear to God, if he screams one more time I am gonna tear off that mouth of his," Seungmin said looking frustrated, as if on cue he screamed again. "Hyunjin's gonna damage his vocal cords if he continues this," Y/N said out of concern.

They continued to look for clues with a flashlight. This time Jeongin screamed, "CHANGBIN HYUNG, WHERE ARE YOU?" This time Chan screamed, "CHANGBIN, I AM GONNA KILL YOU IF YOU DON'T GO BACK." "SORRY, LOST MY WAY," Changbin screamed back and Chan thought he made his way back to Jeongin.

Y/N on the other hand, found a key and opened a locker and found some cards lying there. She picked it up and flashed her flashlight on it and read it out loud, "Solve the riddle for the next clue." Chan was behind her, "What's the first one?"

"Who makes a move while being seated?"

Chan repeated the question in his head, thinking of an answer. Y/N was flashing her lights here and there, looking for a clue.

"Yahh!" he snapped his fingers, "It's a chess player! The riddle!"

Her mouth formed an 'Oh' shape as she heard his answer, "That's real-" she shrieked as a head fell from the celling and now hanging in front of her. "Oh my God," she breathed out and put a hand on her chest. Chan laughed seeing this, "Sorry but you should've seen your face." "Stop it...it was actually scary," she hit his arm playfully.
