Lucy POV
I wake up with the alarm clock screaming in my ear, and I want to throw it against the wall. But since I can't, the best thing is to get up.
It's still very early since unfortunately today is the first day of classes, I get up without any desire, especially because my bed is great. I go to the bathroom, almost dragging myself, do my hygiene, take a shower and put on my clothes.
I grab my backpack and go down to have breakfast. I quickly go to the kitchen and prepare a mixed sandwich and a glass of chocolate milk. I finish eating and go up to my room to brush my teeth. I finish and run downstairs because the driver is already waiting for me in the car to take me to school.
I get in the car and say good morning to the driver and put on my headphones, grab my cell phone and put on my Sia playlist and the first song is Cheap Thrills.
It takes about 30 minutes from my house to school, but today since the traffic was a little light we got there in 20 minutes.
I found all my friends chatting while sitting on the benches under the tree where we always sit.
Me: Hi my loves-I say excitedly.
Everyone: Hi-they say without any enthusiasm.
Cauã: My God Lucy, why all this excitement so early in the morning, especially when you're here in this hellish school.
Me: I'm just in a good mood and I wanted to share my joy with you - I say in a sad voice and pout.
Tina stands up and hugs me and then gives me a kiss on the cheek.
Tina: I understand that you are happy, my love, but we can't have all that joy in the morning when we have to wake up early and on top of that to go to school.
Me: But if it's any consolation, think that this is our last year, so it's the year of last things, so we have to make the most of our last moments at school.
Victor: Eh!! You're right, we have to make the most of this year, a year of fun.
We walked through the school entrance to the auditorium, where the principal and some teachers were waiting for us.
The students sat down in their chairs and the principal went up on stage along with the school's five main representatives, which included me.
She gave her annual speech, welcoming the new students and wishing them a good school year. She explained some basic things about the school and said that if they needed anything they could count on the representatives or her.
Principal: This is the first day of classes, it will be just for the new students to adapt to the school, so there will be no classes, you will just have to introduce yourself so that the teachers can get to know you and you can get to know the teachers and then you will have free classes. Before we continue, do you have any questions?
xxxx: Ah! Mike said out of nowhere- On Friday we will have the welcome party and it will be in the gym. It will be at 7pm. I want everyone present.
Mike is in second grade and is responsible for organizing all the school events and parties.
After the meeting, we all left the auditorium.
The students started to move excitedly through the corridors, but a dark-haired boy with brown hair stood in front of us and looked at me:
Unknown: I know you brunette - says the dark-haired boy.
