NEXT DAY

Arun… I called out to him as I was heading towards the basement. He came running to me, looking anxious.

"Did he say anything"i asked him

"No, boss. Not a word," he replied.

I let out a slight smirk as I realized I’d have to handle this in my own way.

"Alright, let’s go," I told Arun, and we made our way to the basement, where we had Raghav.
Raghav had been working for me form past five years, but just a few days ago, he betrayed me by leaking information about my weapon shipment to police. Although many police officers work for me, but since the shipment was substantial, I had to offer them something to keep their mouths shut,we managed to save the shipment, but  it cost me a crore to bribe  the police. A crore may not be a big deal to me, but if someone tries to deceive me, they won’t live to regret it, in our business, there's no room for mercy or compassion.

"Hello, Raghav," I said, walking into the basement. "I hope you’re staying quite comfortably down here."

One of the bodyguards quickly placed a chair in front of Raghav's, and I sat down

One of the bodyguards quickly placed a chair in front of Raghav's, and I sat down.

"You know, Raghav, these days, I’m not particularly fond of getting my hands bloody.
"Mood swings", you know." I spoke casually, while Raghav sat tied to the chair, barely conscious .
"Otherwise, you would have been buried six feet underground, along with your family."
Hearing this, Raghav immediately looked up at me in a panic, and I couldn’t hide the smirk that crept onto my face .

“Arun,” I called, and he came over, handing me a phone. A CCTV feed playing on the screen, showing Raghav’s wife with a gun pointed at her head, while his four-year-old daughter sat in her lap, crying.

"See Raghav " i said and his face went pale, his body tense with fear. He stammered, “I’ll tell you everything, please… just don’t harm my wife and daughter,” he pleaded, his voice breaking as he began to cry.
“How unfortunate it is Raghav,” I said, looking at him with a smirk on my face. “You didn’t want to tell me anything when I wanted to hear it, but now that I’m not in the mood to listen, you suddenly want to talk.”
