Chapter two

Timeskip 2 weeks~ 

Kaneki wouldn't pick any of my calls even though me and Hide tried to visit him in the hospital.

I was frustrated. I went home and fell asleep after crying for a long time. It was like my daily routine.

Trying to contact Kaneki, getting upset, surviving through college ,surviving Indigo haired Ayato's glares and ending the day by weeping until I slept.

I attended all my classes as usual and after a long day I was walking through the dark streets, I felt someone following me.

I didn't mind it because I didn't care.

Wait.. What if it was a ghoul?

Keep calm.

I unlocked the door to my house and before I closed it someone entered through the door and pinned me to the door, it closed.

My breath hitched and I opened my eyes after being forcefully shoved towards the door.

I saw someone I recognised. The guy who I had bumped into. I found out his name was Ayato. He came real close to my face, I turned away.

I could still feel slight dizziness because of his intoxicating smell.

I decided to push him off but he was blocking me, perfectly, so I couldn't attack in any way.

One of his legs were between mine and his hands on either side of my face, slightly touching.

"You're interesting"

"Why are you here?"

"I had nothing to do"

"Why did you follow me?"

"Because you're an absent minded shit."

"That's irrelevant"

"No. Ghouls are surrounding this area. Specially that annoying silver leech."

"Ah, so why are you trying to protect me exactly?"

"Because... You're an idiot. And maybe because you're cute"

I sighed. I couldn't stop thinking of Kaneki.

Ayato was undeniably hot but he was absurd and intimidating.

Besides I was attached to Kaneki way too much or so I though until..

"Stop doing that"

"Doing what?"

"Pressing these together"

He put his finger on my lips. I shivered because of his touch.

"You over think. And it makes me want to do things..."

"What things? Ayato look I have to do stuff just leave alright-"

He smashed his lips on mine and I was startled.

I don't know why. I don't know how.

But I kissed back.

He pulled back, a string of saliva connecting our lips. He pecked my lips, making it disappear.

I took deep breaths, trying not to make it obvious that I'm out of breath.

Shit. I kissed him back. He's my first kiss!

He was smirking and staring at me while I looked elsewhere. Such as the wall or the ceiling.

"Look at me"

He demanded. I obeyed. His voice was so silkily rough and it made me want to listen.

"I like this."

"Huh?"

"Will you always listen?"

"Oh hell no. Jerk. Get out. Just because I accidentally kissed you once-"

He kissed me again and pulled away before I could react.

"Twice"

He just left without another word. I slid down and got hold of my knees.

That felt... Amazing.

But Kaneki? Maybe he likes me too. Or not. And what is Ayato trying to do anyway?

I scratched my scalp in confusion.

This was complicated.

I closed my eyes and nodded my head. I heard a knock on the door.

My face got warmer as I hoped Ayato would answer my questions.

I opened the door to see Hide but I made sure I didn't seem disappointed, though I was.

He's messing with my mind that Ayato.

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah. Hide. Come inside"

"Okay. Listen Hoshi chan"

"Hmm?"

"Kaneki is umm.. A.. Half ghoul now.."

"What?"

"The boy they were talking about with a ghoul organ transplant. Was Kaneki"

"Woah. Okay"

"Are you fine?"

"Yeah. Of course."

"I'll be leaving. Just call me if you need anything."

"Hmm"

He left. I didn't move for a while. So Kaneki was a half ghoul.
