I stood there, my hands against the metal gate, watching Phil be dragged away. I tried not to cry. I tried. But it didn't work. I let everything out. Warm tears running down my face, trickling down my red cheeks and falling into a puddle by my feet. This felt familiar. Very familiar.

I sunk down to the spot of mud I made. Bringing my knees up to my chest, and burying my face in my hands. After a while I remembered what I had to do. Call Phil's parents.

I whipped out my phone searching through my contacts. Shit. I knew I didn't have Phil's parents in here. Screw it. I'll go to Phil myself.
~~~
I called a taxi over. I yellow car stopping next to me. I got in.
"Right kid, where to?" He asked, with a husky voice.
"U-um. Royal Alfred's Hospital." I shook out.
"Who's in there? " the driver asked.
"Um, a friend." I replied.
"Heh. What happened to him?"
"He, uh. Broke his arm, while skating." I lied. Because I can't exactly say 'some people beat the shit out of him then framed him for a murder attempt when the police got there.' Because he'd probably be freaked out.
"Alright. Tell him to get better." He said. I replied with a small thank you as he drove along the road to the hospital.
~~~
I gave him another thank you as the car arrived outside the hospital. I have him the desired money and got out. Eager to see Phil again, I almost ran into the hospital.

I arrived at the front desk. Being greeted with a kind nurse.
"Hello. What brings you here today?" She asked, with a soft, but audible voice.
"U-um, is there a 'Phil Lester here?" I asked, using almost the same small tone that she had.
"Um, yes. But he's not able to see anyone. Are you family?" She asked. That small voice gone and replaced with a strong and annoyed one.
"No. I'm his friend. Dan Howell." I said. Probably with a hint of anger.
"Alright. Well, I'll let him know that you came by. " She said. Before I turned away, I asked the woman,
"When can I see him?"
"In prison." She said. Like it was the most normal thing to say.
"I'm afraid you'll need to leave." She said. I asked why, but she just gave me a glare.

I left, annoyed and upset. Why can't I see Phil? I get how he was arrested, but that doesn't mean that I can't see him. I swear to god. Phil. I will get you. You won't need to suffer in prison. Being locked away. I'll come get you. I promise.
