Best Friends

Chapter 2

Jaz's POV:
*next day*
This morning I got a group text from Kris saying we all needed to meet at Starbucks before school and that it was important. This is becoming like an everyday thing... Which I don't mind at all I LOVE STARBUCKS! So I put on ripped skinny jeans an ATL T-shirt and my vans. I put my long dark brown hair into a quick braid. I text Jean and Kris and ask if they needed a ride.
K- Kris J- Jaz Jn- Jean
J: hey do u need a ride
K: nah I'll meet u there thnx
Jn: YASS please come pick me up lol
J: kk and ok I'll be there in 5
We all met up at Starbucks, luckily Marie wasn't with Ash.
"Okay guys we need to talk." Kris says after we all get our drinks. Ash was in the bathroom so she talked as fast as she could... If you aren't one of her best friends you would think she was speaking a different language! "We need to tell Ashton about Marie, like who she really is and all of that." Kris said plain and simple.
"Okay but how can we do it without crushing his heart?"
Kris's POV:
Oh shit... I forgot that Ash is pretty sensitive. " Uhhhh I really don't know just try your best I guess." I say. As Ash sits down Luke starts " Hey Ash we need to tell you something about Marie...." "yeah?" Ash says. Oh here it goes, "Well Ash, she's kinda a..." I start. "A stuck up brat that practically rules the school and hates all of us." Michael spat. We all just looked at him with shock. Then we looked at Ashton, he looked kinda pissed honestly.
"Ash, what's up?" Cal asks. Ash just looked at all of us one by one and then looked directly into Calum's eyes.
"Really? What's up, really!? She said she thought you guys were cool and fun. That you were different in a good way. Why would you say that you barely even met her!" Ash yelled.
"Ashton we've been going to school with her our whole lives we know her, and she's lying to you to get you away from us. But if you want to find out yourself then you can, you can just ignore everything we just told you and forget it happened." Jean said trying to remain calm. "I will. I'll see you guys later." Said Ashton as he walked out the door.
Jean's POV:
Oh no he didn't! He did not just walk out. I was not through with him!
I was about to get up and chase after him and ask him who the hell he thought he was walking out on me like that, when Michael grabbed my arms and pulled me back onto the seat "Just let him go he'll realize who she is sooner or later." I did what Michael said, because he has the most beautiful green eyes I've ever seen. I started getting a slight crush on him I tried to stop it but oh well the heart wants what it wants I guess. I still hide it from everyone because I don't want the girls to make fun of me or something and I don't want Michael to know unless he feels the same way.
We headed to school to start a boring day woo hoo.
Luke's POV:
"I've decided while sitting in class that we should start a band." I tell the guys.
"We could try it." Says Michael.
"Sounds cool." Cal says.
"I think it would be fun." said Ashton.
"Sweet so I'm thinking, Michael on the guitar, Calum on bass, Ashton on drums, and me as lead and on guitar. What do you think?" I ask the guys
"Yeah it sounds about right." Ash said. Cal and Mike just nodded in agreement with Ash. I called up Kris and told her to bring the girls and come to my house.
When the girls arrived we told them the idea. "That sounds super cool, I think it's a great idea!" Said Jaz. "Yass! I think you will be amazing." Says Jean. "I think that's an awesome sauce idea, but if you get famous we're coming with you, like around the world and stuff. Deal?" Kris says, she's so funny. STOP IT! I will not have feelings for my best friend! "Deal." I tell her hoping I didn't say any of that out loud. "Guys we should start practicing covers tomorrow, what song do you all know?"
"I know The A Team by Ed Sheeran." Calum says.
"Me too." Ash and Michael say.
"Okay we'll practice it at Ashton's tomorrow after school bring everything you need to his house." I tell them all like I'm in command or something.
Calum's POV:
"We can come watch you right?" Asks Jaz staring at me with her beautiful brown eyes. "Uhh... Guys do the girls get to come watch?" I ask the guys. "Not to the first one, please. It's just because we haven't really played together so we want you to watch when we're better." Luke explained to the girls. They said they understood and we all went home. Tomorrow was our first band practice I'm kinda nervous, but I think that we can do this, you never know maybe we'll go somewhere with it.
