There was no harm in trying, right? she thought. After all, she had Lia's support.

To a surprise, Ryujin turned out was the leader of Showup. Hence, Chaeryeong decided to wait until the opening speech was done, knowing Ryujin would need to speak a bit first.

In Chaeryeong's eyes, Ryujin appeared cool as in amazing. You know, the vibes she radiates. She hadn't expected the girl she had thought of as beautiful and adorable to carry such a charismatic presence in her role as the leader.

With the opening speech over, it was time for an icebreaking game. Finally, Chaeryeong sent a message to Ryujin in the direct message.

Just like that, they ended up following each other on social media after Ryujin shared her Instagram username in the direct message.

They didn't talk much after that, as they both had to refocus on the event. With a few more icebreaking questions to go, they joined in eagerly to help liven up the event that evening.

Chaeryeong actually still felt like this was a dream. First, because she finally got to meet Lia's good friend, whom she had been so curious about.

But more than that, Chaeryeong couldn't believe how bold she had been to make the first move and approach Ryujin. If you were Chaeryeong's friend, you would know that she is quite shy, especially when it comes to socializing.

You know MBTI the 16 personalities? Hers hasn't changed since middle school, even until now, she is still an INFJ. Don't be too surprised but in high school, her introversion was measured at 90%. Anyway, not anymore but it was quite high, wasn't it?

With a slight blink —and a bit flinched—, Chaeryeong snapped out of her daydream as it was time for her to present and explain about the department she oversees.

The meeting conducted that evening went smoothly. Everything felt fun and everyone seems super friendly. Probably because it wasn't a formal event.

Even during the activities, participants exchanged their social media information to follow each other, using the opportunity to introduce themselves and make new friends after the event.

Concluded with a documentation session to take a group photo together, the meeting was finally over.
