The journey to the Dragon balls

Bulma pulled out a capsule case as Raditz finished packing his spices and supplies into a backpack while Goku admired how happy his brother had been as he hadn't seen Raditz truly happy since before his grandfather died when the boy had been gifted a cookbook by Gohan.

Bulma picked out her capsule and threw out a motorcycle as well as a small attachment for the side. Goku had his mouth covered by Raditz who knew his brother would say something of magic he then explained that it was a capsule made by a company known as capsule corp he explained he had read about them in a magazine article Gohan had left behind. Bulma helped Raditz load his bag into the attachments compartment and lifted Goku into the seat of it. She then lifted the squirmy Raditz to sit with her on the bike portion.
Goku complained of not sitting on the main bike but Bulma said he and Raditz could take turns.

They drove for a few minutes jumping over a hill on accident as they reached a boulder where Bulma got off and told them she had to get off for a second as the boys got off and stretched.

After a few seconds they heard Bulma yell for help causing him and Raditz to run around the boulder to see her being held by a pterodactyl like being who Goku  asked if he was a friend of Bulmas who was being held by the things tail. The pterodactyl conversed with Goku for a few moments until it felt Raditz bite its tail attempting to get it to let Bulma go. The plan worked slightly but now the pterodactyl had grabbed him and Bulma flying into the air as Goku drove their bike to try and catch up.

Goku made the bike jump only for it not to reach he then jumped reaching closer but not close enough, he used his power pole to smack the monster as it dropped Bulma and Raditz who both yelled as they fell, Raditz fell into his brothers arms as he barely missed the cliff while Bulma ended up stuck to the cliff side with Goku's power pole stuck in her shirt as she peed in fear

They helped the poor girl down as she hugged Raditz who resembled a plushie in the girls tight grip before they climbed onto the bike again where Goku was again banished to the attachment for his behavior, this time Raditz was in Bulmas lap as she taught him how to drive the bike while they drove.

They reached a clearing as the sun started to set, Goku complained of hunger while offering to catch snakes for dinner with both Bulma and Raditz telling him no snakes. They were Raditz's least favorite thing to cook.

Goku asked if they'd be camping out at the clearing as Bulma dug in her bag while Raditz grabbed his bag. Bulma told them she had capsules for that so no need to rough it like savages, Goku commented that he didn't like the "witch bombs" as Gohan had told him magic should only be used to help people. Raditz shushed him and told his brother it wasn't magic.

Bulma pulled out her capsule throwing it out to reveal a small house beckoning the boys inside as she turned on the light while Goku looked around she pointed Raditz toward the kitchen where he left his bag to come and watch his brother. He stood next to Bulma as Goku walked towards a tv she turned it on spooking the boy mystifying him as Raditz apologized for his brother. She changed the tv to a kiss scene and she started drooling and seemed to be very into it as Goku grabbed the remote, Raditz didn't understand the fuss but he face palmed when just as the couple on tv got close to touching lips it changed spooking Bulma. He apologized for Goku and she commented on the smell of Goku. She told the boy he needed a bath.

Goku asked what a bath was. She was disgusted when even Raditz didn't know. They looked young enough to probably just be too young to have taken one alone so she took them to the bathroom where Goku stripped while Raditz seemed more modest, choosing to wait until the bath was ready. Bulma made Goku get in as she realized he didn't have a shred of decency but Raditz seemed embarrassed by even having his shirt off. She helped them into the tub as she scrubbed Goku's hair with shampoo. She left him for a moment to do the same with Raditz.

After rinsing off the boys hair Goku laughed at his brothers hair that covered his face as his brother turned to wipe it out of the way Bulma noticed Raditz tail she grabbed it causing Raditz to flinch as Goku gasped like she did something horrible.

She attempted to pull it off causing Raditz to tell her she was hurting him, this caused Goku to hit her hand away where he scolded her with all the gusto of a toddler about how they could wash their own backs as Raditz grabbed the brush with his tail scrubbing his own back causing Bulma to realize their tails were real spooking her. She found it weird when Goku told her all boys have tails. She took it and realized she hadn't ever seen a guy naked so she couldn't be sure.

Raditz couldn't even look at her after the bath but he finally turned around and handed Goku one of Bulma's extra shirts she'd given them to sleep in as he told her not all boys had tails just them and that his brother just thought everyone had them he said this quietly into Bulmas ear as Goku ate the food he'd made in his time away from the two.

Raditz wore an oversized red shirt with a white heart on the center, his tail swayed behind him. Goku wore a similarly sized black shirt with a pink trim as he ate. Bulma was in the bath as Raditz washed the dishes he had Bulma help him set up cartoons for his brother to watch but it seemed to not work as when he looked over to check on Goku he was gone as he heard Bulma yelling at Goku who had walked in on her bath. Raditz knew of the fact women had differences physically and knew the girl was akin to him in her need for privacy.

She blow dried her hair as Goku watched some cartoons sitting way too close to the tv but Raditz allowed it due to it keeping him entertained as the boy groomed his tail.

Once done with her hair Bulma helped Raditz brush his hair that was surprisingly soft she also helped with his tail, Raditz appreciated the help as he had a hard time keeping up with it himself as Goku didn't know how to help and when he did Raditz would end up with a few bald spots and an aching scalp.

Bulma always wanted a younger sister to do hair with but she'd take Raditz for now. Goku asked the others if he could go for a walk and they allowed it as Bulma taught Raditz how to care for his hair better.

When back after his walk Goku decided not to tell the others of his run in with the metal bird and the two weirdos that kept asking for his dragon balls.

Goku bounced on the bed of the bedroom as he invited Bulma to jump with him as there was enough room, Bulma then told Goku he'd sleep on the floor for being bad, she told Raditz he could sleep on the bed with her but he declined deciding to sleep on the floor with his brother. They got comfy on the floor as Bulma brushed her teeth as she asked them why they lived with their grandpa anyway and what happened to their parents.

Goku said his grandfather had found him and the currently sleeping Raditz on a bed of moss and took them home.

She bickered with Goku until they heard Raditz whine. They both calmed down and turned out the light as they fell asleep. Goku woke up first climbing onto the bed and laying his head on the sleeping Bulmas lap the feeling of nothing cushioning his head confused him as he sat up and smacked the area as though looking for something. Not finding what he was looking for he sat back up and after getting a closer look he freaked out and yelled spooking Bulma awake he jumped off the bed towards the door as Bulma questioned the yelling.

He then yelled that Bulma's balls were gone she freaked out standing up quickly accidentally stepping on the groggy Raditz tail making the boy cry out in pain as she apologized giving the boy a hug as she checked where she'd left the dragon balls as she noticed they were fine telling Goku he must've been dreaming as she let Raditz go. Raditz sat on a chair grooming his now poofy tail and tangled hair.
