*Chapter 7*

*Kayleigh's POV*

It is now August 2nd and we are in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! And Brooke is still here like she said she would, her and Harry are hanging out like a lot which is making me so happy! Everything seems better now that I have my best friend, I'm not as homesick as I was! I think once I get to Virginia Beach and have my mom's homemade chocolate chip cookies, I'll feel so much better. I actually have to call my mom to talk to her! Ring...ring...ring... Come on mom answer the phone.

"Hello?" someone who was not my mom said.

"Who is this?" I asked hoping everything was alright.

"Kayleigh? It's Hayley!" My sister said happily.

"Hayley?! Oh my gosh congratulations on your engagement! I'm so bummed that I wasn't there to see you!!" I said getting all excited on her engagement.

"Thanks Kayls! I'm so excited! It took 5 years but Cody finally proposed!" She said so excited, I knew she was smiling!

"So how did he do it? Whats the ring look like! WAIT WHEN IS THE WEDDING!?" I asked her all sorts of questions.

"Well I bet mom already told you but he did it after dinner with fireworks on the 4th of July! The ring is gorgeous, it's a round cut set in a white gold band with little diamonds surrounding the main diamond! And its not till May 20th of next year! Its gonna take so long! But I have something to ask you?" She said getting all serious.

"What?" I asked.

"Would you want to be my maid of honor?" she asked.

"Oh my god! Yes totally! I mean I'm coming home in October for a little while so I'll make sure to be there for all the important details and I can still help while on tour!" I said as happy as I could! I wanted to be there now if I could but I can't.

"Well, don't worry you'll be here for something important when you get here soon!" she said.

"What am I gonna be there for?" I said, getting all curious.

"Our engagement party, silly!" She said "I wouldn't have it unless you could make it!"

"Seriously? You're the best older sister ever! I love you Hayley!" I said getting emotional when Brooke walked into our room.

"I love you too Kayleigh! I have to go make some decisions on the engagement party but I'll text you later? I love you!" she said.

"Okay, love you bye!" I said hanging up. Brooke looked at me.

"Who was that?" She asked.

"My sister, who's getting married!" I said getting all excited.

"SHUT UP! When!? Where?! Tell me everything!" she said getting all happy. So I explained everything to her.

"Oh my god thats sooooo romantic!!! And you're her maid of honor!" She said happily!

"I know!" I said getting up to go get ready to go the concert.

*Niall's POV*

I was in me and Harry's room watching TV when Harry walked in.

"Where were you?" I asked.

"Hanging out with Brooke, she's amazing!" he said with the eyes you get when you really like someone.

"You really like her don't you?" I asked.

"Yeah I do, I think I'm gonna ask her out" he said with all seriousness, "So when you gonna ask Kayleigh out? Hmmm?"

"Ha thats not gonna happen in this lifetime maybe never, she hates me" I said with full meaning that she hated me.
