Are You Over There Or Over There?

Hi guys! This was a request from my little brother. I don't think this is a bad idea though.

"Students, please remember that there is a Calculus test tomorrow and it will count for half of your grades." Miss Bustier said. I stared out the window at the Eiffel Tower.

Driiiiiiiiiiiiiiing! 

The bell rang, signalling lunchtime. I packed up my stuff and followed Alya outside. It being the peak of summer, the students had become so overheated in the cafeteria. The teachers didn't think much of it until a boy from Ms. Mendeleiev's class fainted while waiting in line for a casserole. We then were allowed to eat in the courtyard.

The sun poured in through the tall windows, casting warm rays on the backed concrete as I felt my skin roasting. 

"Get lost, weird goth girl! No one likes you, you're so weird and creepy!" Chloe said to Juleka.

Juleka started to cry and Rose led her away, giving Chloe the finger as she left. I'd never seen Rose so angry.

I mouthed: You are the best friend Juleka could ask for. To Rose, she clearly understood me and smiled, returning to her cheerful self. Though still hurt by Chloe's insults to her girlfriend.

I thought that was the end of it but I was wrong. Juleka screamed, I turned my head and saw Rose had been akumatised. All of the students began running away and hiding. except Chloe and I. Chloe stood, frozen with fear, staring up at Rose.

Rose was suddenly 3 metres tall. She had a mirror ball as a head and every inch of her was covered by tiny squares of mirror.

"No one hurts my Juleka Chloe! Feel the wrath of Rebound!"

She held a hairclip in her hand and as soon as she clicked it, the entire courtyard was made of mirrors.

I took around ten minutes trying to find the bathrooms.

"Tikki, spots on!"

Once I transformed, I left the room and tried to yoyo out of there but I hit a mirror and it rebounded, smacking me in the forehead.

"Milady? Are you okay?"

I turned in circles. I saw at least 15 Chat Noirs, the real one grabbed my arm.

"Yeah." The akumatised person is Rose Lavillant."

We walked into what seemed like the courtyard, but mirrored. Rebound sat at the bench nearest my classroom. At least 17 other Rebounds sat around the courtyard.

"Oh Chloe? Come out wherever you are!" Chat Noir and I ducked behind the mirrored stairs.

As we slowly approached, an unsettling gleam caught our attention. The entire school seemed to have transformed into a labyrinth of mirrors. Every surface and every corner reflected our images, creating a disorienting maze that made it hard to navigate. 

"What in the world?" Chat Noir exclaimed, glancing around. "It's like we walked into a funhouse!"

I frowned, adjusting my yo-yo. "This can't be a coincidence. The Akuma must be using these reflections to confuse us. We need to stay focused!"

We stepped inside, and the world around us became a kaleidoscope of reflections. Each turned corner presented not only our images but also glimpses of our surroundings, twisting reality into something surreal. I moved cautiously and quietly. "We need to find the akuma before rebound can cause any more damage.

As we manoeuvred through the mirrored hallways, I felt the tension rising. "Chat, can you hear that?" I said, straining to listen. Faint cries echoed from somewhere deep within the school. 

"Yeah, I hear it too," Chat Noir replied, his green eyes narrowing. "It's coming from... that way?"

He gestured towards a hallway lined with lockers, but as they turned, they found themselves staring at a wall of reflections instead of an actual hallway. Frustrated, Chat Noir punched a mirror, only for it to reverberate back at him. "Ouch! That's one strong wall!"

"Careful! We can't split up or we might get lost in here," I instructed, trying to stay calm despite the mounting confusion.

We paused, taking a grounding breath. "Alright, let's think," I said. "What if we use the mirrors to our advantage?"

Chat Noir's face lit up. "You mean like a reflection diversion?"

"Exactly! Let's use the mirrors to confuse the Akuma!" I grinned, my determination returning.

We worked in tandem, using our abilities to create confusion. Chat Noir leapt from one mirror to another, creating distractions, while I skillfully aimed my yo-yo at the reflections, trying to identify the source of the cries we heard.

Finally, we spotted a figure in the distance. It was Chloe, one of my classmates, her reflection twisted and anxious. "Ladybug! Chat Noir! I didn't mean to cause chaos!" she cried as we approached.

"We know, Chloe! But you've made Rose akumatized!" I said, my voice echoing through the mirrored hall. "But we can help you!"

With my reassurance, Chloe's reflection flickered, revealing the distress behind it. "I was just jealous because Rose has someone to love and I don't." 

I took a step closer, my voice steady. "Chloe, you are brave, creative, and loved. You don't need a mirror to show you that!"

Chloe turned to Rebound. "I'm so sorry I hurt Juleka, and you. I'm sorry to everyone I hurt!"

With those words, the light of the Akuma began to dim. I held out my Lucky Charm, a special mirror that reflected true intentions, and with a flick of my wrist, I used my yo-yo to purify the Akuma. Rose returned to her normal self, a relieved expression replacing the turmoil in her eyes.

"It worked!" I grinned as we slowly approached, the mirrors starting to dissolve back to the normal walls around us.

"Yeah, we did it!" Chat Noir cheered, his joyful smile returned.

As we led Rose and Chloe out of the school, we shared a celebratory fist bump. "Pound it!"

"Next time, let's hope it's not a funhouse again," Chat joked, making me laugh.

"Bye Kitty cat!"

"By Bugaboo!"

"Don't call me that!"

"You know you love it when I do!"
