Loving mothers and dying stars

Loving mothers,
And dying stars,
Bring tragedy
Of families apart

Dragging their voices
To the infinite darkness,
Where all is lost
And nothing's harmless.

Love is lost,
Minds are dead,
Floating in the void
Of eternal dread.

Stars and planets
Dancing in the nothing,
Earth is done,
And God is missing.

The Celestials sit down
In their stoned thrones,
Made of golden flowers
And sharp, broken bones.

Animals and humans,
Who roamed the earth,
Down to their knees,
Grasping a new God's birth.

Their hands went together,
Their hooves and paws as well,
Admiring all, with numerous eyes,
The old God's farewell.
