The Broken Wall

Creature of love,
Hate, pain and suffering
Sitting still in this cage
Waiting and to itself mumbling

"I just want to get out,
Please, let me go"
Plead the beast,
And they answered "no"

Choirs and voices
Of insults and pain
But the beast stood there
year of year, each and every day

Weeping and crying
The beast bit off its claws
"Look I'm harmless,
I can get out now!"

They still kept it inside
Driving it absolutely insane
As it teared off each
and every fang, crying in pain

"I wouldn't hurt
Anyone, I promise!"
They didn't believe it
Thinking it wasn't honest

Rotten flesh and
Badly crushed bones
Puddle of tears,
Blood and hate, all at once

Cries of suffering
And ugly desperation,
Turning to growls
And incoherent trepidation.

No escape,
Only a big wall,
Forehead against it
Banging against it for all

"No absolute chance
Of it to actually break it"
But they were wrong,
As the beast began to crack it.

Pain to pain,
All comes to an end.
The big, tall wall
Painted with revenge.

The beast is out,
Eating and devouring all,
And that is the story
Of the broken wall.
