Saying goodbye to our mate, she turned around and started headed to the direction of her house. Taking out her headphones and putting them in.

Sighing, I turned to Riley. "We should head home too. It's nearly nine." Giving me a quick glance before taking her phone out of her pocket, clicking it on, Riley groaned. "Already? Time sure flies when you're having a good time." She pouted, looking back at me.

"Let's go. Grandma would be upset if we get home late again." Riley shrugged, slipping her phone back into her pocket. "Alright."

Heading to the forest, we shifted and ran all the way home. Turning back into our human form and putting our clothes back up when we arrived.

Closing the door behind us and walking to the second floor, we were stopped by an unwanted visitor. Umm...what was his name again?

"Who are you?" The guy stopped a few feet away, his smirk turning into a scowl. "You're seriously don't remember me?" No. "I'm Adam, son of the Alpha of the Dark Moon Pack."

Riley tilted her head, still confused like me. "Never heard of you or that pack before." Adam gritting his teeth, staring at us angrily. Riley giggled at his behavior, moving closer to me.

Taking a deep breath, Adam ran his fingers through his hair and his grin returned. "That's a shame. My father and our pack is really well known, I'm surprised that you have forgotten us."

"We met before?" His eye twitched. Forcing to keep his grin, he stepped closer to us. His eyes only on Riley, completely annoying me. "Yes, it was only a couple months ago I believed, that we have met. And ever since, I have been swayed by your beauty and couldn't keep you out of my head so I had to return to see you, darling."

My eyes narrowed, looking over at Riley, she shifted uncomfortably where she stood. A shiver of disgust ran up her spine.

Seeing Adam reach over to grab my sister, I grabbed his wrist before he could touch her and turned to look at him straight in the face, glaring at him and he did the same. "Don't touch my sister."

Baring his teeth and growling, my eyes narrowed even more. The nerve of this mutt. "You can't tell me what to do, freak-" Headbutting the fucker, the mutt screamed from pain as blood erupted out of his nose.

Still screaming, I twisted his hand behind him and pinned it against his back before rushing him over and slamming him into the closest wall. Pinning him there with my body.

I leaning forward in his ear. "Know your place, mutt. I have a short temper and can easily snap this little neck of yours and get away with it Scot-free if you try anything with my sister again." The nuisance started to shake, looking at me in the corner of his eye. "You are the son of an alpha, I am the daughter of a king. I won't get in much trouble if I kill, maybe I should do that right now. Saves me the trouble on having to do it later."

Hearing something pouring, I looked down and coiled away disgusted. "Did you really have to pee your fucking pants? It's all over the damn carpet!"I snarled, the teen flinched. His cheeks becoming flush with embarrassment as tears form in his eyes.

Riley giggled, her footsteps echoing the hall before she was right next to me. Resting her chin on my shoulder as she wrapped her arms around my waist. "Is the little puppy afraid?"

Hearing another pair of footsteps coming down the hall, Riley and I turned our heads to see father. Frown on his lips as he looked at the teen, noticing the blood and piss wet pants, before turning at us. "What is the meaning of this."

"We were just having some fun, your majesty." Riley shrugged, snuggling into to me. "He tried to touch me but my beloved big sis here protected me from this brute. Not our fault he's a giant coward and pissed his pants."

Growling, father took a step towards up but quickly stopped when a rock was hurled his way. Missing his head by just a few inches. After a moment, we heard something shatter. "Girls!"

"Apologies, I was aiming for your face." I said. Father's face flush in anger as he bared his teeth, growling at us as he shook. In his eyes, there was a battle between wolf and man. "You two...are impossible and immature brats!" He forced out after a minute.

"Thank you for the compliment, your majesty. But we should really get going. It's getting late." Riley said, taking my hand and stared dragging me away. Only when looking forward did her smile fell into a deep scowl and anger formed in her eyes. "Fucking dipshit."

Walking to our room, we went inside and Riley slammed it closed before storming over to our bed and flinging herself on it. I rolled my eyes at her behavior, locking the doors before going over to her. "That bastard is so fucking annoying! We were only defending ourselves."

She whined, turning her head to look at me when I sat down beside her. A pout on her face. "Why was that coward here anyways? Wasn't our fault he doesn't know how to keep it to himself."

I struggled. Silently laying down beside Riley and
stared up at the ceiling. After a moment, I turned to her. Seeing that she was already looking at me. "Let's just head to bed. At least tomorrow, we can see our mate again. Riley nodded at that. "Yeah, okay."

Falling asleep, Riley and I woke up the next day still irritated from last night. So, we changed and quickly left. Not bothering to have any breakfast around his majesty.

We stopped at a cafe and had breakfast there before going go school. Getting there just in time as homeroom ended and everyone was going to their first period.

Heading to class, Riley was skipping by my side with a huge grin. "I can't wait to see our darling little mate." I hummed, agreeing with her.

Didn't take long to get to class. Everyone stepped out of our way the second they saw us, bowing their heads. I grinned a little at that.

Stepping into class, I scanned the room and instantly saw Isabella. As Riley hurried over to her, I followed only to pause. Eyes widening at the sight of Isabelle's black eye, busted lip, and bruised cheek. I felt sometime inside me snap at the sight of my mate hurt. The same with Riley.
