Grace’s POV
„I wonder whether Jack approaches me today.“ I talk to Emma on our way to school. I’ve git the feeling that she’s a bit annoyed of our conversational topic. For her, it’s totally naïve to think that Jack might like me. She doesn’t mean it mean, she just hasn’t got the feeling that Jack is the ‘Boyfriend-Type’. In one point she might be right. Jack really isn’t the kind of boyfriend who is treating a girl like a princess, at least he never was. Emma told me, that his relationships never hold longer that a few months. As far as she knows his longest relationship was about nine months long, but I don’t care about that. The fact that he never has had a very long and serious relationship doesn’t mean that it’s totally impossible to have a long lasting one with him.
But what am I thinking about anyways. It not that fell for him hook, line and sinker. I just like him. I like him, but a like can turn into love. It doesn’t has to, but it can.
Well, today is an important day. Not just that I see this adorable gorgeous boy again, no, I’m also moving.
Yes, I’m moving.
I still can’t believe that my time in the hotel is over. I don’t have to hide my home anymore. I can invite friends. I don’t need to conjure up excuses anymore.
I can be proud of my home!
I made it. Finally I’ve done something I wanted to do since I moved to London and that’s making me feel better. It makes my life so much easier to know that I’ve got a home that is impressive.
“You wonder whether Jack approaches you? What is impressing you so much about him?” Emma asks blankly.
“C’mon. It doesn’t go without notice that he is super duper handsome.”
“You are so hyper when you talk about him. Could it be that you’ve got a little crush on him?” She answers giggling.
“What? No, I don’t have a crush on Jack Donovan. I mean, not that it’s impossible to fall for him, but I know him too less.
“Well well!” She answers with a little wink as we enter the school grounds.
“Look who is coming over there?” Emma points to the front. “Your Mr. Charming is coming over but he totally forgot his horse.” She teases with a grin on her face.
“He’s not my…” I try to defend myself and him, but Jack interrupts me.
“Hi Grace.” He steps forward with an adorable smile on his face. “How are you?” He gives me a quick hug making me shivering.
“Oh, I’m fine. How about you?” I answer looking him straight into his crystal blue eyes.
“I’m alright. What about your boyfriend? He seemed to be very drunk on Sam’s party.” Jack grins with a super duper cute grin.
“What? My boyfriend?”
“Your boyfriend, this curly haired tall boy.”
“Oh. OH! You mean Harry. Oh- No, no, no, no, no! Harry is NOT my boyfriend. He’s my best friend, nothing more.” I try to explain him everything.
Emma cackles.
“So is he alright?”
“Yes, after a day of headaches and sickness he turned into a kind of normal teenage boy again.” I smile.
“Haha.” He laughs. “He overtook it very much.”
“Yes, he did.”
“So, that I wanted to ask you is…” He starts looking aground.
