One day, I checked my phone and saw her name again. But this time, there was nothing.
I had blocked her. I had made the decision. I thought it would feel like closure. It didn’t.
Instead, I felt more lost than I had before.
The silence, the void between us—it was a constant reminder of how far I’d let myself fall. I couldn’t help but wonder if she’d ever get over it. If she’d ever understand why I had to walk away.
But I knew the answer. She probably wouldn’t. And I couldn’t blame her for it.
