I’ve been planning this for weeks—getting the photos together, making a playlist of all our favorite songs... I even framed a few old movie tickets he thought I threw away!”
She points the camera towards the playlist on her phone, which reads, “Y/N & Chris’s Love Playlist.” Some classic love songs play, mixed in with a few tunes from their favorite bands and movies they’ve watched together.
Y/N turns back to the camera, a gleam of excitement in her eyes. “He has no idea, and I can’t wait to see his reaction!”

Scene 1: Chris’s Arrival
Y/N hears the door open and quickly hides the camera, so it’s positioned to capture Chris’s first reaction. As he steps into the living room, his expression shifts from confusion to awe as he takes in the setting.
“What... is all this?” he says, his eyes wide and his voice filled with wonder.
Y/N beams, stepping forward to take his hand. “Happy anniversary, Chris! I wanted to do something special to celebrate us—everything we’ve been through, all the little moments that mean so much.”
Chris’s face softens, and he looks around, taking in each detail. “You did all this… for me?”
Y/N nods, her excitement growing as she watches him start to explore. “For us,” she whispers, squeezing his hand.

Scene 2: A Trip Down Memory Lane
Chris begins to pick up the framed photos on the coffee table, each picture bringing a smile or laugh. One of the first photos is from their first date, a candid shot of them laughing at a cafe.
“Wow,” he murmurs, holding the picture closer. “Our first date… I can’t believe you kept this photo.”
Y/N grins. “How could I not? You were trying to make me laugh because I was so nervous, and then you spilled coffee everywhere. The barista probably remembers us for the mess we made that day.”
Chris laughs, the memory making his eyes light up. “I remember thinking, ‘She’s way out of my league, but I’m going to do everything I can to make her smile.’”
He moves to the next picture, which is from their first vacation together. They’re standing on a windy cliffside, both of them barely managing to stay upright in the fierce wind.
“Oh, this one!” Chris chuckles. “I remember you made us hike for hours to find that spot.”
“And it was worth it,” Y/N replies with a smirk. “The view was amazing!”
Chris shakes his head, smiling. “Yeah, but you were more interested in the view than actually staying upright! I think I spent half the time trying to keep you from getting blown away.”
