Episode 7: Grocery Shopping Mayhem

The episode kicks off with Chris and Y/N sitting in the car, parked outside a grocery store. Y/N clutches a grocery list with a mischievous glint in her eye, and Chris looks at her with a mix of amusement and wariness.

“Alright, Y/N,” Chris says, eyeing her suspiciously. “Please tell me you’re not planning on turning this grocery run into one of your ‘adventures.’”

Y/N smirks, holding up the list. “What, me? I’m very serious about my shopping list.” She then dramatically clears her throat and reads from the list in a mock-serious tone. “Eggs, milk, a cactus, five bags of candy…you know, the basics.”

Chris sighs, already laughing. “A cactus, really?”

“Think about it, Chris,” Y/N says, as if this were the most logical idea ever. “We’ve never owned a cactus. That’s basically a life skill. What if we need one in an emergency?”

Chris shakes his head, smiling. “You’re ridiculous.”

With that, they head inside, where chaos immediately ensues.

Scene 1: The Produce Aisle

As they enter the produce section, Y/N makes a beeline for a bundle of bananas and throws them into the cart.

“Bananas, check,” she says in a self-satisfied tone, giving Chris a thumbs-up.

Chris chuckles, reaching for a bag of apples. “Now, see, this makes sense. Apples. Classic, practical. Not cacti.”

Y/N nods in faux seriousness. “Oh, totally. And we should grab some lemons. You know, just in case we need to start a lemonade stand on a whim.”

Chris laughs, rolling his eyes as Y/N tosses in an absurdly large bag of lemons.

“I feel like you’re going to use this whole grocery trip as an excuse to make me look ridiculous,” Chris says, watching as she ponders a display of pineapples.

“Oh, that was always the plan,” Y/N replies, grinning.

Scene 2: The Snack Aisle

In the snack aisle, Y/N immediately starts grabbing random items and tossing them into the cart. She holds up a jumbo bag of marshmallows.

“Essential for…um, marshmallow fort-building,” she says, winking at Chris.

Chris raises an eyebrow. “A marshmallow fort?”

“Oh yeah, it’s gonna be epic.” Y/N nods emphatically, throwing another bag into the cart. “We’ll need multiple floors.”

“Of course,” Chris replies dryly, clearly trying not to laugh. “I mean, if you’re going to build a marshmallow fort, go big or go home, right?”

“Exactly!” Y/N says, throwing in a bag of jelly beans. “And you can’t have a fort without an emergency jelly bean stash.”

At this point, Chris gives in, grabbing a giant bag of popcorn. “You know what? Fine. I’m in. If we’re doing this, we’re doing it right.”

Scene 3: The Baking Aisle

By the time they get to the baking aisle, Y/N is in full “random item” mode, tossing things into the cart with complete abandon. She picks up a bottle of edible glitter and looks at Chris with a straight face.

“We need this.”

Chris gives her a look. “Why? So our marshmallow fort can sparkle?”

Y/N gasps, delighted. “Chris, you get it! Yes. Sparkling marshmallow fort.”
