Leaving Again

Sun's P.O.V

I woke up, expecting to be with Moony, in his arms, because I wasn't. It took me second to remember that he stayed over with Monty. I sat up and looked around my room, well... Moon's room. I missed him last night. I want him to hold me.

I got up and decided to text Moon.

"Hey.... so... r u gonna come to the daycare soon?"

I was worried that he wouldn't respond at first, but then seconds later, my phone lit up.

"Ya, I'm almost at the daycare doors. I'll see you soon, my love🫶"

I giggled and waited for Moon's arrival. I decided to go onto the balcony and wait for him instead so I could see him even sooner. Not even seconds later, I saw the daycare doors open, and Moon was walking through them. I unintentionally squeaked really loud, and Moon looked up and saw me. I waved.  He smiled and blushed a little. Once he got to the play area, he summoned his wire and flew up to me. I hugged him really tight, and he did back. He then kissed my forehead and picked me up bridal style.

"Did you miss me? Is that why you texted me if I was gonna be here soon?"

I nodded and buried my face in his chest. He took me to our bed and laid me down while getting on top of me. He kissed my neck over and over, and I was blushing so much. I love it when he does that. I tried to cover my face, but Moon stopped me and grabbed my wrist. His grip was tight, but after a few seconds, he gently let go of it. He frowned and looked down, rubbing my wrist and then kissing my hand gently.

"I love seeing your beautiful face when you blush, so please don't hide it, my darling~"

I blushed even harder to where the tips of my rays were red and they were spinning. I was smiling so much. We both giggled, and he hugged me tightly. I hugged him back and started rubbing his neck.

"I love you, Moony."

"I know~" He kissed my neck again. Then he went silent. I could tell he was upset.

"Baby..? Are you okay? Did I do something wrong?"

"No, my darling. It's just... I-I have to go on a misson soon, and I don't want to leave you..." He frowned. Is he leaving again?? ALREADY??? But I just got him back! I can't lose him again. I pulled him close to me, putting my head on his chest. I started to sob. He immediately pulled me into his lap and hugged me. He started apologizing over and over. I told him that I was okay, but I was just gonna miss him a lot. He kissed my forehead and held me close.

"Sorry, Moony. I know it's your job. Don't let me stop you."

"Don't say that. You're perfect in every way. It's not your fault. I love you so much, Sun."

He smiled and rubbed my cheek. We kissed passionately, and Moon kept me in his grasp, not letting me go at all. He held my hand as he nuzzled my neck. I giggled and took off his hat so I could run my fingers through his beautiful glowing galaxy hair. He closed his eyes and purred. After a few minutes, I started to fall asleep in his arms. He growled and tried to keep me awake, but I wanted to sleep with him since I didn't get to last night. I could barely sleep without his body holding mine. I missed his kissing and midnight purring. And I get it, I'm a simp. But just because we didn't get to sleep together one night doesn't mean I can't miss my partner.
