Chapter 10- expelled

„No, no no no Froststar, it isn't what you think it is!" Voidstar says, his voice cracking.
„Oh yeah? You are trying to explain me you didn't talk to Starclan? Then what is it supposed to be? A little nap next to the
moonstone?" she hisses.
„Voidclaw, you know very well how the warrior code works. An you also know" she takes a deep breath, enjoying the despair in Voidstars eyes, „that the punishment for that is expulsion."

Voidstar can't believe his ears. „No Froststar, please, I will explain everything, just let me talk to Salmonfrost!"
Froststars smooth tail flicks, and she laughs, mad. „No. You will leave my territory now, without talking to anyone." she hisses.
A weird determination goes through Voidstar, and he extracts his claws, ready to fight.
„I am not leaving! This place is my home, and always will be. You can't just expel me like that!" he says.
„Please."

Froststar seems like she is thinking for a second, but then she shakes her head.
„No. this is what a traitor deserves!" she hisses.
„I am not leaving!" he answers, and in that second Froststar jumps to attack him. But Voidstar can avoid it, rolls away from her, and once Froststar reaches the floor, he scratches her back, until it's bloody.
Froststar yowls in pain. „You can't just attack your leader like that!" she hisses at Voidstar, but he just laughs.
„If you just expelled me, like I think you did, you aren't my leader anymore. In fact, I am my own now." he hisses. But Froststar doesn't know how much he means it.
Froststar wants to attack him again, but once she jumps, it's like the world freezes. Voidstar runs around her, and kicks her mid air, so she lands very imperfect. Froststar hisses, but, to Voidstars surprise, she doesn't stand up again.

„Go on. Kill me. Not like you dare." she says.
And she is right.
Voidstar couldn't kill her if he wanted to.
Atleast not yet.

In that second, Bamboospark opens her eyes.
(Ooh DRAMA)
They widen in shock, and she is trying to digest what she just witnessed.
„What is going on here? Are you guys fighting?" she asks, running up to Voidstar.
But Voidstar knows how painful it would be to explain everything to Bamboospark, and he runs away from her.
„What? Voidclaw! Don't leave me, Mousebrain!" she says, but not loud enough for Voidstar to hear her.
Through some miracle, Voidstar finds the entrance to the tunnels.

As he looks, there stands Salmonfrost, almost like she was waiting for him.
„She realized, didn't she? Froststar? Come we have to go." she runs, and Voidstar wants to follow her, but the hurt and sharp voice of Bamboospark stops him. „Voidclaw, deputy of cliffclan, if you care about me at all you come here now and explain!" she hisses.
Voidstar turns around to her.
„Listen, this is a very awkward situation to be in, and I am sorry, but I have to leave. Froststar doesn't want me in Cliffclan anymore, I have to leave. Ask her, she will tell you everything else." he says quickly, because he wanted to disappear before Froststar came trough the tunnels.
„I am so sorry Bamboospark. Take care of the clan, of our kits, and everything else. I miss you already, but trust me if I say I have to go." the pain in his voice is very clear now.

„But why? No! And why is Salmonfrost there? I have so many questions!" she says, confused and sad.
„I know, I know. But I really have to go now. You will get answers, just not now. Please Bamboospark, promise me you won't go after me!"
Bamboospark looks at him „I can't promise that" she whispers.
„Promise it!"
„I can't!"
„Promise!" Voidstars voice is more then a beg, it's an order.
„Okay. Okay!" she says, and backs away from him, scared.

„I love you, Bamboospark"

Bamboospark doesn't answer. She just turns around and runs back into the tunnels.

Voidstars heart feels like it's shattering.
But he can't stop here.
He runs over to Salmonfrost.
„You ready to go?" she asks.
„I am.".
And with a new wave of determination and confidence in what's in front of them, they trot into the forest, an unknown part, seen by no clancat before.
