Riding with fate

Matt and Xander arrived at the academy gates and looted at them .
"Let's do this" said Matt "For master"said Xander.
"Hey, piglets. Get out of the way" said someone behind them.
They turned around to find a well built, masculine guy looking down at them with fierce eyes.
"The gate is wide"said Matt.
"I want to pass here" said the guy.
"What if we don't want to walk away"said Matt
"Do you know who you are talking to, this is the young lord of the Chu manner, show some respect "said a guy who was standing next to the big guy.
People had started surrounding them. Chu manner was a  respected manner in the kingdom. They hed some of the strongest cultivators and we're the next in line to the throne Incase the king died with no heir.
"Hi you, the gates are almost closing " screamed a guard standing at the gate breaking the tension.
Soon everyone was in the gates lined up.
"The entry examination involves a sword fight, writing, and a cultivation test, losers go home, winners stay"said some guy standing at the balcony.
First, they did the writing exam where they had to write about different types of cultivation. Amber and Ivy found it easy because their master had taught them all of this. Next, they went for the sword fights, they were grouped in pairs and had to fight till one is pushed off stage.
Lastly, it was the cultivation test. The test was a forest said to be created by the academy chief and they had to go through it the other side. They were given time to prepare themselves because they had to fight.
Amber and Ivy entered the forest together. At the beginning everything was foggy and quiet.
"It feels strange"said Amber.
"Yah, I don't like this place"said Ivy
They walked further into the forest but their bad feeling increased with every step they took.
Suddenly, they heard something walking in the bushes. They drew their weapons ready to fight anything that pops.
"Ha, ha, ha. You weaklings think you can fight me"said a feminine voice.
"Show yourself and let's find out " said Ivy.
"Okay"said the voice. There was a swoosh and a half snake half human appeared infront of them.

Somewhere.
" Ben,These students seem talented. They were so good with the sword. They remind me of  Garry."said a guy .
"Lens, Garry never had an apprentice "said Ben.
They were watching Amber and Ivy as they entered the forest through a crystal ball.
Suddenly, the door opened and a guy in a mask covering the whole of his face entered the room.
"Carl, hurry. You have to see these guys. I have liked them"said Lens.
"What's with the mask "said Ben.
"Not in the mood of showing my face "said Carl
"Don't care, come watch"said Ben.
Through the crystal ball, they could see  a half snake half human reveling itself to the two men they were watching.
"These two guys are so cute"said Lens.
"Especially this one" said Lens pouting at Ivy.
That is when Carl looked at Ivy's face.
His heart made a strange movement in his chest and he felt his blood burn in his veins. In a swoosh, he disappeared.
"What's with that guy"
