It was now mid December, Janice had been back at work for about three weeks and Roger had made plans to put Siobhan on the board of directors coming into effect in the new year. This was so he could keep a closer eye on her and make her do most of his bidding around head office.
At first she was quite excited about being on the board because that meant that she wouldn't always have to be in a room with children because despite her workplace. Siobhan hates children.
For both Janice and Siobhan the day was pretty normal and as always it consisted of parents coming in and making silly little complaints. They both dealt with these comments in their own way.
Christmas was quickly approaching so Siobhan was looking around at people se could potentially hire to take her role. She decided to choose Reece as he was her boyfriends son after all.
Everything seemed like it was going well for Siobhan on the outside but behind closed doors she had a deep secret. Roger was abusing her and showing her with gifts so that she wouldn't tell anyone the truth. This made everyone start calling her a gold digger. they thought that she was only with Roger because he was rich but the truth is she was trapped and she had no way out.
As for Janice her feelings of loneliness returned as she realised that it was going to be her first christmas alone for many years. Janice ended up slipping into a severe depression but would but a brave face on and go to work everyday. She thought about her husbands death everyday.
He wasn't the kind of guy that would be a subject of a murder. There had to be some motive behind it and janice wanted to do everything she could to make sure that the person who murdered her beloved man was sentenced.
A few weeks later and it was time for the nurseries to close for their christmas break. Janice's depression worsened as her only distraction was temporarily put on hold. Meanwhile Roger was keeping siobhan by his hip and never letting her out of his sight.
Christmas day rolled around and janice treat is as any other day. She didn't move out of bed because the thought of being alone on christmas day was killing her. Siobhan spent the whole day with Roger in a rather uncomfortable state of undress.
Once christmas was over Janice went to seek therapy to try and help with her grief and depression. It helped and over the following weeks she started to get better.
