I jolted awake, my heart racing like a wild stallion, as the remnants of a haunting dream clung to my mind. Dark wings enveloped me, suffocating, while eerie whispers echoed: "War's embers ignite, Aurora. Choose wisely." My sheets were drenched in sweat, my mother's necklace clenched in my fist.

With shaking hands, I lit the candle beside my bed, casting a warm glow. The room's shadows retreated, but unease lingered. What did the dream mean?

As I dressed, my long, golden blonde hair cascaded down my back like a river of sunset hues. I smoothed the tangled locks, my fingers tracing the delicate strands.

In the solarium, a pure white dove perched on the windowsill, its feathers glowing with an ethereal sheen. The dove's gentle coos signaled an incoming message from the Heavens.

I approached, and the dove nuzzled my hand. A low, melodic voice whispered in my mind: "Aurora, daughter of Elian, beware the shadows that stir. Your path converges with the Underworld's heir. Tread wisely."

The dove's message delivered, it spread its wings and took flight.

The day passed in a blur. Advanced Healing and Divine Theory classes filled my morning, but my mind wandered to Malum and the ominous dream.

As the final bell tolled, signaling Celestial Defense, I settled into my seat, lost in thought.

The door swung open, and an unmistakable presence commanded attention. Malum Hades stepped into the room, his piercing bright blue eyes sweeping the space. His black coal hair framed his chiseled features, and an aura of mystery enveloped him.

Our eyes met.

Time froze.

His gaze held mine, an unspoken challenge, as if daring me to confront the darkness.

My heart skipped a beat.

My pearl white wings fluttered involuntarily.

The world around me melted away.

In that moment, I felt an inexplicable connection to the mysterious heir.

Professor Ariel's voice broke the spell. "Welcome, Malum. Take your seat."

Malum's eyes lingered on mine for an eternity before he nodded and moved to the shadows, his presence still dominating the room.

I exhaled, my senses reeling. What did this encounter portend?
