Minos walks into his room, his beard being gently caressed along the way. The room was some what small, there was a queen sized bed, an open window letting in air, and a simple table setup next to it in the corner.

"Hmmm"

he walks to the table and feels it's surface, a small grin to his face. It seems it wasn't just his face that was somewhat restored. His sense of touch, feeling of skin, and the feeling of something else seems so surreal. Before, it felt like Minos was in a fog, no nerve within him, he relied solely on what he perceived to be the correct figure of things.

Maybe he had such clear feeling of himself, he would've bested that creature of steel. He had to slowly process the world around him before he could ever get a sense of distance or depth. No wonder the machine bested him so easily, seeing such a clear comparison, his moves were slow and calculable in trajectory.

If he just had his original body maybe he could've-

The king clenches his hand and holds his thoughts. They weren't gonna do him any good now. What's best is to plan what he wishes now. This world seems to be in stuck in a medieval time period with some sort of arcanum system imbued within it. If Minos was smart about this, he could lead this world in a renaissance greater then even of the Lust Layer. He doubts the scientific capabilities of this world could match his time periods, his mind alone would be enough.

"I'd be best to understand more of this world before I start any staging grounds for a better world."

Minos looks outside and towards the raving sidewalks brimming with activity. Kids playing in the streets, Mother's shopping in the market's, Father's working to support their families. A simple and enjoyable life.

"A happier world."

Walking towards a large building, Minos walks past the receptionist discretely passing her gaze. He doesn't know if this world has library cards or requires one, but he wasn't interested find out.

Looking at the letters across the rows of bookshelves, he sees letters that seem familiar but are evidently different to what he was used too. Minos knew there were a multitude of languages, all known to him, but he prefers English overall. Counting the letters down the row he could tell that they follow a 27 letter system.

"hmmm, I am quite curious what this world's stories hold."

Minos grins at the challenge as he wonders what his beautiful children could've thought of in such a fantastical world.

Hours passed in Minos's wake. Novel series, history books, and mathematic texts were easily taken off and on the shelves. What would have taken a man months to read and comprehend, Minos was done in 5 hours.

"So, that's how this world's Vatican church was built. What a strange journey indeed."

A Demon race, from the sound of it, he doubts the demons he's used to too may compare to what a kingdom of demon would look like

A Demon lord is of the strongest caste of demon kind, while humanity built it's heroes around a belief system guided by this world's religion.

"My children can be so stubborn."

He puts the book back to it's shelf and begins walking towards the exit.

Thinking to himself, I wonder what Andrew and his brethren are doing? Maybe I shall visit the  church, I'm sure he'd be done by now. I am quite curious on how it has evolved from the books. Afterall, information can be misleading without proper confirmation.

Minos walks up the road as night befalls the city, thinking to himself.

As the oil street lamps illuminate the streets, Minos faces the stars. He may not see them, but he still knows they exist. It's as though as if his body could feel the light reflecting off of his skin.
