When I saw her

Emma's pov

Since that whole situation that happened yesterday, I haven't been talking to Jenna as much. I sent her a good morning message since I wanted to apologize, but she left me on read.

Honestly, I'm not sure why she's upset. She has a literal boyfriend even though he can control her in a snap of a finger. It might not seem like it, but trust me, he can.

I don't think there's any way that I can help her because she somehow always ends up choosing him over me. Seeing him show her off on the internet makes my blood boil.

He clearly only wants to show her off, but she's too busy overworking herself to realize. I feel so bad that I walked in with Georgie, and I can't help but think that things could've gone differently if Georgie had never asked me to go out for lunch.

I mean, what if it never happened? It is now the next day after that entire thing with Georgie, Jenna, and I. She hasn't talked to me in a while, and the only time we have talked is when we are shooting a scene.

“Emotions are a gateway trait. They lead to feelings, which trigger tears. I don't do tears."

Jenna said her line, her tone cold. I know that's how it's supposed to be, but to me, she sounded colder than she usually did.

I don't think anyone notices the slight change of tone in her voice, but I do. I notice how she simply takes a sip of her drink when someone interrupts her while she's talking to hold back from saying anything, the way she seems mad while she's listening to someone talk when in reality she's just really focused on what they're saying, the way she laughs silently, the way her dimples deepen the more her smile grows, she's honestly breathtaking.

It amazes me to see that there's actually people who don't like her. She has the type of beauty that painters can't paint, and there's no way to even describe her beauty.

I know that we'll be able to find eachother again, but that won't happen until Bryce is gone.

How is that going to happen? No idea but it has to happen soon before Jenna drifts away even more.

I look away from Jenna, who is still acting, and walk back to my tent. Since I don't have any other parts for the rest if our filming time, why stay here?

Tonight is the met gala, and I finally got invited, but I literally forgot to look for a dress to wear so now I have to look for one at the last minute.

Luckily, my friend Sarah is a stylist, and she has a few dresses that she wanted me to check out first.

I quickly changed back to my normal clothes and took off my wig that I had on for Enids look before walking out of my tent and out to the front of the building where a driver was already waiting for me.

I gave him Sarah's address, and he drove me there while engaging in a small conversation.

Once we got there, I got out of the car and ran up to the front door, knocking on it and smiling when I saw Sarah open the door, immediately pulling her into a hug with both of us squealing.

"You're definitely gonna love these dresses em!" She said, pulling away and grabbing my hand to pull me inside her house.

"I have this red dress that I think you'll really like. I also have this blue one and a black one, but I think red suits you best." Sarah continued.
