The next morning

I woke up when lani kicked me in the face in her sleep. I don't know why I set myself up for failure with this girl every time

I got up and started making breakfast for me and the kids
I laid towels on my floor and got their plates ready.

Aj started crying first, so I ran up the stairs and when I walked in the room lani is staring at Aj like he lost his mind

"Good morning titi baby" I greeted her as I started to Change Aj's diaper and Lani's pull-up

I picked both of them up and headed down stairs I sat lani on the towel and high chair.

We ate and watched dinosaur train until a knock on the door

I got up and went to open the door. My brother and Glock was sitting at the door mugging me

"That ain't how you open a door lil mama. Ask who is it or something" Glock said giving a big grin. He is fine!!

"Sorry" I said quietly before letting them in "let them finish their food first. Its more in there if yall want" I told them before going to sit on the couch

Izzy always hungry ass ran into the kitchen and all you hear is dishes clanging

Glock came and sat on the couch next to me. It gave me time to study him

His face is always frowned up but he has dimples and a pretty smile with a gap. His buff arms are exposed in his tank, and my God his curls are beautiful

"Glock can I touch your curls?" Every since I was a kid I have been obsessed with hair

He gave me a side eye but nodded his head I scooted a little closer and reached up to rub his hair.

His eyes closed a he let out a deep breath when I scratched his hair with my nails. His curls are so soft and silky

He cleared his throat and I stopped. I had to have zoned all the way out because i can't even tell you how long i was doing it

Laysia you are so embarrassing

"Sorry" I said quietly as I stood up to help the kids ready to go with Izzy

"Sis that shit so fucking good. I swear I don't know who  taught you how to cook but thank god!"  Izzy yelled from the kitchen

"Thanks a lot sis ima Apple Pay you lil girl" he said kissing me on the head and taking the kids to the car

I walked into the kitchen and wanted to make Glock a plate, the way Izzy scarfed that meal down I know that they didn't eat anything.

"Ya brother went to the car?"   He asked walking in the kitchen. I nodded to him and gave him the to go plate that I made for him

" ohh umm thank you baby girl. You be safe out here." He said clearing his throat and walking to the door.

Glock popped back in the kitchen, chewing on his food

"Lil mama you cook like this all the time?"

I nodded and turned all the way around to face him

"I can get your number? Let me know if you got ANY leftovers. I'll even pay you to cook for me if I have to baby girl " he laughed

"Not you wanna use me for my foooodd" I laughed grabbing his phone from him

I put my number in his phone and he ran out of the door to my brother who was honking the horn
