A/N: sorry for being gone for so long, I got grounded and I made an academic comeback!! I promise I'll try not to abandon this book!! But nothings really changed, so don't worry!! Now let's get started, shall we?
The officers all escaped infection free, and were driving back to the station. They parked in front of it and ran to the front door. Kayden unlocked it and allowed everyone to enter before he walked in, locking the door.
"What were those things?!" Lola blurted out, panicking.
"Lola, calm down. I'm not sure what they were, but I promise you I'll find out." Max turned around and crouched down to place a gentle hand on her shoulder. He stood up a moment later and was about to say something until the intercom went off.
"Everybody, there is a monster in the station! Get to the garage NOW!!!" A familiar voice shouted through the intercom.
"ANOTHER ONE?!" Eclipse shrieked, hiding her face with her hands.
"Relax, eclipse. I'll make sure we all get out of here alive." Max promised.
"You're not alone on that one." Pinky smiled, looking over at max with determination.
"Yeah, we'll all make sure everybody gets out alive." Kayden reformed max's earlier sentence as Elena walked towards max, pinky, and Kayden.
"Don't forget about me!" Micah smiled, resting his arm on max's shoulder.
"Alright, we all have each others backs. Now let's go! Cmon, girls." Max smiled, gesturing for the twins to follow them further into the station.
The group traveled into the station, leaving max and Micah to deal with the infected (supposedly mother pig.) while the others led the two officers in training to the garage.
Elena split up with the group to look for gas, and they eventually got it, they chugged the gas into the car and hopped into the back.
Once everyone was in the car, officer doggy drove them away from the station.
"Do any of you have any idea what's going on out here?" Doggy asked as he ran over an infected.
"I'm pretty sure it's some kind of worldwide outbreak, doggy. The others and I already encountered two other infected. But we still have a mission."
"And what's that?"
"To find George piggy."
"He's probably dead by now." Eclipse muttered.
"Don't think too negatively, eclipse. I know that kid like the back of my hand. And I know he's out there somewhere, Alive." Max quickly dismissed eclipse's remark, opening the glovebox and taking out a cigarette box and lighting it up with a lighter.
"Seriously? We're about to die our deaths here and all you're doing is smoking?!" Pinky asked.
"What? It helps me focus." Max rolled his eyes, rolling down the window and blowing smoke.
"At least he rolled down the window this time.." doggy mumbled.

Georgie trembled through the cold night as he walked back to the grocery store for the sixth time that week. He didn't eat much, hell, he was underweight. But he couldn't fit too much in those sorry excuses for pockets he has in his jacket. And it was much too cold to make multiple trips in one night, he would freeze.
He broke the alarm so it would stop giving him a heart attack every time he left the store without paying. Even though money didn't matter, he didn't mind stealing all the money from the cash registers. He might need it in the future.

Georgie stumbled his way back to the mall and managed to successfully avoid the hostile mall droid and get to safety in the room he was hiding in. He placed the food and water on the once empty shelves and sat down on the ground.
