Hamilton.

~Thomas' POV~

It's now 6:30 and I walk in the library, Alexander greets me kindly and I sit down at the table. As we start to talk about law we get interrupted by Madison as I had asked him to do but I've now changed my mind, I actually want to talk about law with Alexander- I mean, no , shit, Hamilton. Before I get a chance to speak I hear Hamilton's voice "Leave Madison, I'm studying Law with Jefferson" Hamilton says "Oh, are you now, tell me Thomas do you want to be studying with Hamilshit?" Madison quickly says "Well, it'll keep my grades up so that helps, so yeah, I do, Maddie" I say quickly, trying to defend myself to him. Madison quickly leaves the library. "Thanks, Jefferson" Hamilton says. "It's nothing special I just need help with studying" I mumble but loud enough for him to hear but not loud enough for anyone else to hear, I hope "oh okay" I get in a response from Hamilton. We then continue to talk about Law and what to do and say during the cabinet battles. The time is now 8:30 and the library just closed so I head back to my dorm shared with Madison. As I enter I immediately hear his voice boom through the room. "What the fuck man!" "I went to the library like you asked and tried to pull you out!" He says before I could a word in.  "I needed help studying!" I respond to him. "Then why didn't you text me so I didn't have to fucking embarrass myself!" Madison quickly responds "I'm sorry man!" I say "You're going soft man, you're going soft." I scoff at him. I'm not going, am I? I continue to question myself the rest of the night. A couple hours later I just lay in bed thinking about what he said, trying to fall asleep but, i'm not able to. I then get a call from Hamilton, I answer it on the fifth ring. "What do you want Hamilshit" I say as I answer the phone. "sorry for bothering you this late but John's asleep and I went out to get food but left the dorm room keys in the room, Can I sleep on your couch tonight, Lafayette doesn't have a couch in his" He says frantically. "Fine, but couch only" I answer him. "Thanks Jefferson.". "It's nothing I would just hate to be in your position and have no place to stay". A couple minutes later Alex-Hamilton shows up at my door, so I answer it and let him in and he lays down, he falls asleep pretty quickly. I then attempt to fall asleep but I have a pretty hard time because I can't stop thinking about what Madison said. "You're going soft". "You're going soft". "You're going soft". I CAN'T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD GOD FUCKING DAMN IT ALL!!! Eventually I ended up falling asleep a while later. The next morning I wake up to Alexander not here but I hear  yelling, screaming and crying in the hallway so I go to check what it is and it's Alexander and John, I guess they were talking about last night.  "HOW THE FUCK DO YOU LEAVE YOUR KEYS AT HOME" John screams at Alexander "OH, YOU'VE NEVER FORGOT YOUR KEYS AT HOME?" Alexander responds."NO" John replies. Bullshit. "BULLSHIT" Alexander says as if he was reading my mind "WHO FALLS ASLEEP WITHIN THE TEN MINUTES SOMEONE LEAVES" Alexander says angrily. "Ladies, ladies, chill out, it's okay" I say trying to joke around. "OH SO THERE'S THE HOE YOU SLEPT WITH" John screams furiously.  "WE DID NOT SLEEP TOGETHER" Me and Hamilton say perfectly in sync right after John said his sentence. "Then why are you so defensive about it?" John says looking proud and confident. Me and Hamilton both look at each other. "We aren't being defensive about it we are simply stating truths, and why would you care, are you two dating or something?" I say half joking. "No" I get from Hamilton "Yes" I get from John. "So what is it?" I ask, very confused. "No" Hamilton states a second time, but this time John stays silent. "So, it's a no?" I ask just to clarify it. "Yeah, it's a no" John says. "Why the fuck did you lie?" Hamilton asks with a yelling tone, I guess. "Because I love you"
