"Why is Furin here?" Togame asked, perplexed. "Huh? Saruwatori, what's going on? Why are you down there?" Sakura watched the scene unfold, finding it almost comical as the newcomer stood frozen in shock, studying the unconscious man’s body.
"They were chasing one of our people," Hiragi explained, stepping closer to the border. Sakura noticed the man slowly turn his gaze toward Hiragi.
"Oh... if it isn’t Hiragi! Hey there~" Togame said lazily, waving in a sluggish manner. Sakura’s discomfort grew as she observed him. There was something off about him—her instincts told her so.
"So, you guys... did you do this?" Sakura asked, her skin crawling as the man flashed them a creepy smile. She felt Sasaki tense up behind her and instinctively shielded him more, leaning slightly to the side so her body blocked his from view. Frowning at the tense atmosphere she noticed slight movement from the corner of her eye causing her to glance down at the unconscious man, she saw him twitch, then slowly begin to sit up, his face contorting with anger.
"Enough with the nonsense! The rules are clear—we don’t cross into each other’s turf! This side of the tracks belongs to Shishitoren!" The man yelled, pointing at them in anger. Sakura observed the reactions of the others, noting their discomfort. Her attention shifted to the second-in-command, her body tensing as she saw his expression darken.
"Don't you dare walk around on our—" The man was abruptly cut off when a bottle crashed into his head, knocking him unconscious. As he slumped to the ground, the one responsible approached him slowly.
"Our turf?" Togame said as he yanked the unconscious man back by his hair and delivered a forceful hit. Sou looked sternly as Nirei shuddered even more.
" You lost didn't you?"Sakura watched the situation, her face wrinkled slightly as she saw the unconscious man repeatedly punched, further causing him to bleed, Hiragi scowled while Sugishita averted her gaze.
"It means your weak" Sakura watched as blood bloomed on the unconscious guy's face as the punches hit him hard.
"You're fully aware right? The weak are...." Gritting his teeth, Hiragi stepped up slightly body tensed as he looked at the guy being beaten up before looking at Togame who continued his assault.
"Stop it—he's one of you, isn't he?" the man with sunglasses paused his assault, standing up and glancing over at Hiragi with a casual expression, as if the beating had been nothing.
"Who? Him?" The man shrugged. "Nah, he lost. And those who lose are weak..... And those who are weak...." he continued, gripping the unconscious man's jacket and yanking it off with a rough motion.
"Aren't needed in Shishitoren," he added, pulling the jacket free and letting the limp body drop to the ground with a heavy thud. The sound of the jacket fluttering through the air followed, the only noise breaking the stillness of the train tracks.
"What a pathetic way to deflect defeat." The man with sunglasses glanced around, confused, until his eyes caught a white tuft of hair peeking from behind Hiragi and Sugishita. He tilted his head, trying to get a better look.
Hiragi quickly moved to shield her, but the man walked toward them, using his height to his advantage. He leaned over them, his gaze falling on Sakura, his eyes widening in surprise. Sakura met his stare without flinching, her expression unwavering, as the man hummed in amusement.
"What’s a girl doing here?" he asked, his eyes drifting over her before lingering on her bandaged leg. Then, his gaze shifted to her jacket tied around her waist before looking back up as he studied her face, a faint smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
