Chapter 4. HEADACHE

"you're in big trouble now" Cookie said. Cookie my assistant or friend or relative whatever tag I give it to him he's the only one who annoys me and gets to live in this world. "shut up" I said while reading the news on the Tv screen.

"another scandal of the most popular celebrity Eric Summer has came into the light, While being recently nominated for Grammy Awards, he was found last night at the famous club with the pop artist Sofia" The reporter in the Tv said while showing some lame fake photos on the screen, Cookie's face became angrier watching that shit while I looked like I don't give a fuc-

"ERIC!" somebody screamed and opened the door with loud noise, I know who this is without actually turning around to see him and I also know that I have to bear 2 hours of lecture about how I should live and how I shouldn't, for no good reason of course. I will escape from this misery though.

"explain this" my CEO said while throwing the photographs onto the table, James. We both started this company when we're in college not knowing how big it'll turn out, Even though he is the CEO I have the most shares in this company and I'm the main pillar of this company. So most of the time 'I never listen to anyone' rule goes for me. "there's nothing to explain" I said while reaching for the water bottle in the fridge.

"what the heck do you mean you have nothing to explain" James said his expression is similar to Cookie 5 seconds ago, "It's fake James" Cookie added, "okay let's say it's fake, the man in pictures looks similar to you and it's not clearly visible" he looks concentrated "then where the hell are you last night". I thought for a second and replied "Somewhere". both of them looked at me like I was joking, but I'm calmer than ever and I have serious expression on my face by looking at the mirror opposite to me.

 "Somewhere is not a place okay! will you tell me where exactly you were last night" James said with his hand on the his head rubbing it trying to ease his pain, his headache probably got bad I guess, "no" I replied "Why? then how will we explain this to people?" let's not make his headache worse and leave "people will forget this in a week or two so don't worry" I said as I grabbed my coat "I have work to do gotta complete this album before next world tour you know" alternate meaning: Deal with it it's your only job, seeing his expression I think he got it. I gave a quick smile to James and ordered Cookie to come with me.

 "why don't we give public announcement that you are dating Sofia" James said making me freeze on my way to the door, I turned and said "No" with a clear disgust on my face "Why? are you dating someone behind my back" he asked generally curious to know "no" I said in a neutral tone.

"then why? this is not the first time you're rumoured with her anyway " I don't like being pawn in stupid mind tack tic games "I don't care and I'm going to pretend like I never heard that " I said as I turned to walk away "just go on 3 dates with her who knows maybe you'll like her" huh can't believe this guy "you never know when to give up do you?" I asked.

"just ask anyone in this world they'll tell you that this is the best solution for the problem that you've created" James said that without taking breaks damn he can actually become a rapper if he got fired as CEO, I looked at Cookie want to know what he thinks "yeah it makes sense just go on a date", What! he's supporting James?! Traitor.I just made a 'just now betrayed' face, "I know I know but this the only possible way for you to get out of this mess or just tell us where you were last night then we'll clear this shit up" he said.I would rather drink acid than go on a date with her, "fine."

"only one date" I said. and Cookie offered a high five to James which he totally ignored it. 

great.They pushed me to do this, I hope they'll learn their lesson. I went to my room, grabbed some clothes in my closet and threw them in my bag. I looked up the places in my bucket-list and found the perfect place, I looked up the nearest flights and yes there's a flight 2 hours from now. 

now I'm in New York seashore side and if I want to go to France I'll reach their with the help of my private jet but No James will know about it in no time so I decided to take bus from here to the airport because I can't even trust my smart car he will hack it and know about my location in a spilt second. I took the things I need and turned off my phone. 

I have 15 mins for my break to end and the bus will reach there in 12 mins, the bus stop is 2 to 2.5 miles from here, I wore my hat and mask just to avoid any attention, Let's go now.

"this is why I've been taking all those gym class" I'm an excellent runner there's no doubt in that huh knowing I excel in everything I do.Now I'm trying to reach there in 10 mins running super fast. "Move" "give me space" I said to people who are on my way , "woah move!" I said to one whom I almost collided with, I turned my head back to see him and BANG

I collided with someone, It's a girl, she was about fall back and I quickly held her waist preventing her from falling even though we are half bending to the ground. She closed her eyes maybe she's afraid, she finally opened her eyes to see me and Damn! she looks...

beautiful.

I quickly lifted her back up and looking at how she's trying to fix her clothes while totally ignoring me. why is she looking like an angel? probably because of the way she dressed. I took my eyes off of her realising about the bus I immediately turned back and when I started to run again I heard a gasp and she held my hand.

all roads in my brain stopped at one junction asking why? Ah I get it she recognised me but now is not the time.

"No selfies" I turned to her and said meanwhile she looks a little angry, "You better buy me coffee" she said in a command tone, is she crazy? why should I- she pointed her finger to the ground and I followed her finger. there's a coffee cup on the ground and spilled coffee, seeing that making me realise why she stopped me.

My mind went blank.
