a week had passed since the confession between darcy and chris, and their encounters had only increased in frequency. in the past week alone, they had made out more times than either of them could count, their connection growing stronger with every moment they shared.
darcy found herself craving the taste of his lips, the feel of his touch, and the way he made her heart race. each moment they shared was filled with a growing intensity, as if the fire between them was being fueled by some unquenchable desire.
darcy turned to her friends, a mix of excitement and anticipation in her voice. "nicholas is coming to town, but he's not getting here until seven," she said, a small smile playing on her lips.
