Prologue Part 3
Solarian, Cosmic Dust and Magma Wisp have been flying away from Tempest for the last fifteen minutes. They had been successful in avoiding any Quintesson ships, and they remained completely cloaked as they soar above the clouds. All three of them were feeling a deep sense of loss and sadness at this time. They have all lost their home, and they probably will die today. But they had to make sure that Ignited Galaxy was brought somewhere safe. They trusted that Oranos's foresight was right. But they had no idea what the future would even hold for this sparkling. After all, they knew that when the stasis pod did open, Ignited Galaxy would have only aged at least five cycles, which would still make her an infant when she left the safety of the pod.
However, Solarian hoped that when Galaxy did emerge from the pod, she would be able to find someone in Iacon to take her in. If the new Prime will rise when she wakes, Solarian could only hope that Galaxy will meet them. She did not know how or why it will happen, but she only knew that it would happen. Galaxy was born with gifts that will develop into greater power as she grows. Solarian herself wasn't a strong warrior like her sparkmate. While she could cloak herself, her abilities were limited. Not every draconic bot was born with the same abilities. And Galaxy was definitely more like her sire in terms of power. But there was paralysis abilities that Solarian and Comet did not have that Galaxy has inherited. Likely from an ancient ancestor who had past long ago. And Solarian worried because the abilities from one of Comet Hammer's ancestors were dark and dangerous, and at the time, had been used by Unicron and almost caused the Primes to perish at that time too.
Magma turned his head to glance in the direction of Tempest and he sighed deeply. While cloaked, only the draconic bots could see each other using heat trackers in their optics. He looked towards Cosmic who was flying beside Solarian while he flew behind them. "I don't know about you...after getting shot at and smacked down by Quintessons, it feels...almost prophetic with the way today has gone."
"I agree...I suppose it could, in some way. No world goes through a period where peace remains in place for too long...just like the sun. Light rises and falls, and so does darkness." Cosmic gazed ahead, staring at the horizon as they were getting closer to the coordinates that Oranos had provided. "At least...the Quintessons will probably lose a lot of forces today."
"Meh, true, but with the way that those things breed, it isn't going to even matter to them." Cosmic nodded in agreement with Magma's words as Quintessons were capable of breeding forces very quickly, and they matured to fighting age quicker than draconic bots and transformers. "We will only dent them and slow them down. But we cannot focus on what we can do today. Even if we were able to defeat the Quintessons, we still have a traitor, and he's hiding behind the Quintessons."
"It's pathetic. When Sentinel strolled through Tempest the other day, I couldn't really see him as a fighter. He'll come in at the last second for the kill, but it won't be him who really defeated that person. I highly doubt that he would have fought the Primes head on. They would have killed him otherwise." Cosmic growled lightly as she thought about how smug Sentinel was when he walked through Tempest. She knew it was deliberate now that he has met Ignited Galaxy. "Why do you think Sentinel even wants Galaxy?"
"Because of Wraith, most likely. He was one of the strongest draconic bots many thousand cycles ago, but he also fell under the control of Unicron." Solarian flinched and glanced at Magma when he mentioned Wraith. "I am being honest, Solarian. You know that Comet Hammer is a descendent of Wraith. I know Wraith had been saved by Zeta Prime when he used the Matrix, but that power was still there. And both Comet and Galaxy are related to him, even though Wraith did perish from the wounds he had been inflicted by during the fight. But his four offspring survived thanks to Oranos for protecting them at the time."
