Karan woke up early on the Morning, and checked Monami's temperature.
As soon as he checked her temperature, he found her body burning.
He quickly dropped a message to Param that he would not be able to make it to the Drills and classes as Monami was not keeping well.
He sent a leave application to Batra Sir .
He woke up and started preparing breakfast for his Ladies.
He then woke up Shreya, and quickly got her ready for school.
Later came the difficult task as he had to make a braid for Shreya but was not able to do so.
He then quickly made a pony tail for her .
He fed her breakfast and dropped her to school.
On the way back home He bought a few medicines as well.
Once he was back home, he quickly went to Monami and checked her temperature.
Her body was still warm despite him giving her a tablet in the morning.
He then woke her up and helped her in the daily activity.
Later he fed her breakfast and gave her a few medicines,and for the first time ever Dr Monami Karan Shergill behaved like Special Agent Lieutenant Colonel Karan Shergill!
She made faces showing that the medicine had bitter taste and she wouldn't take it.
Karan was shocked looking at her tantrums, it had become difficult for him to handle her tantrums as she threw her hands and legs to avoid the bitter medicines.
After a long battle, The Karan Shergill felt utterly defeated as his Rani Sahiba, denied taking medicines and also had hidden herself under the comforter.
After sometime when Karan came to the room he saw Monami sleeping but her forehead showed stress lines.
He realized that her head might be hurting and he sat beside her and placed her head on his lap and started massaging it .
After sometime,she had visibly relaxed. Karan then made a plan he would mix the medicine in Monami's food and she wouldn't get to know.
Karan smirked at his brilliant idea,and quickly went to the Kitchen and prepared beetroot soup and Palak khichdi.
Once he prepared the lunch he quickly took the medicine ,and powdered it and put it in the soup.
He then woke up Monami ,and then fed her the soup, Monami ate the soup as she was too tired and needed energy.
Once done with the soup, Karan wiped her mouth and made her drink water and let her sleep.
It was time to pick up Shreya, Karan left quietly locking the door, he drove quickly to Shreya's school .
Shreya was over cloud nine seeing her Dadda at the school. She squeled in joy and ran towards him.
Karan too was delighted and quickly picked her up in his arms and the Father Daughter duo drove back with Shreya telling him tales of her friends and teachers.
At home,Karan helped Shreya change and freshen up. He then fed her lunch and then made her sleep in the sofa .
As soon as he went to the room ,he saw Monami shivering ,he quickly sat by her side and checked her temperature and found it really high.
He decided to take Monami to the Hopsital as her condition was not improving despite giving her medicines.
He quickly called Sid and Sanju to his quarters and told them to take care of Shreya as he had to take Monami to the hospital.
Karan quickly carried Monami in his arms and took her to the jeep.
He fastened the seatbelt and covered her with the blanket and drove away speedily.
At the hospital he immediately, got her admitted and filled the forms meanwhile the Doctors started her treatment.
They did a few blood tests and they found out that Monami was suffering from Dengue.
Karan then called up Param and later Sid and told them about Monami's condition .
He even called up Colonel Batra and told that he would not be able to come for a few days as Monami needed him.
Colonel Batra immediately granted him leave for 2 weeks and offered to take care care of Shreya.
Karan thanked Colonel Batra and then bought Monami's medicines.
He too was tired and slept on the bed that was a few metres away from Monami's bed.
Sometime later , Param along with Sid ,Sanju,Shreya had come to the hospital.
They woke up Karan,and gave him the packed dinner , later they sat and chatted with Moran as Monami too had woken up.
She looked a little better but she was really tired. And not to forget her hand pained as the IV that was attached to her hand!!
Karan fed her and gave made her drink water. Also the nurse had given all the medicines to her through the saline so there were no tantrums .
Once everyone left except for the two, Karan helped Monami lie down and then covered her with the comforter and caressed her hair.
